Homeless Dis'ers set sail *sound* on some posts

People got me out of bed at this hour to face a 2HOUR WALK to look at monkeys???!!!! I'll send Carlos along so he can fetch me my very own monkey! Now, about a table for lunch overlooking the Pacific.....leave that to me.:teeth: I'll make certain we have wonderful service and accommodations! ::yes:: While this is especially beautiful scenery, this weather feels suspiciously like Florida. :(

Well you better start kissing some of our other passengers butts because I am NOT, I repeat NOT, bailing you out of South American jails. (I left the counterfeiting equipment at home).

Hey, I was by your room this weekend and there were stange noises coming from the door - sounded like something cracking followed by a swoosh and a splash. What have you and Carlos been up to?

How was Friday at DTD?

Oh, ye of little faith! I've mended my ways....you'll see. Won't be a problem with me at all!

As for the "sounds" coming from my cabin......just typical sounds associated with glassing. The crack you hear is after scoring glass, I break it off....thus the "crack". The "swoosh and splash" is the water in the grinder you're hearing. WHAT???? You thought something else????? ::yes:: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

P.S. I've got to figure out a way to get back to FL by the time ED takes his trip. You know I can't allow him an "unevenful" time there!

Oh, 'bout DTD.....couldn't get there!!!! Traffic was soooo bogged down DH gave me "the look". We turned around and headed to Tampa instead. We're turning our office into another guest room and we went furniture shopping. Ate some great Spanish food that night in Ybor City. Ever been there? A place unto itself....unique, scary, strange, exciting and over the top with action!!! Check it out next time you're in Florida.....but don't go alone. Large group is best! ::yes::

I have not. It sounds exciting, though. Maybe when this ship heads down to Florida you can convince our Captain to dock in Tampa for a night.

I went to college and was friends with the then Mayor of Tampa's daughter and have been trying to get down there ever since and it just never happens.

I have soaked

my aching bones and now I am ready to explore the canopy.

Whooooooo, there goes Ed off into the canopy:

THIS IS THE SHIP'S FIRST MATE SPEAKING - will Ilovepcot please come to the bridge - will Ilovepcot please come to the bridge

castlegazer looks up from attempting to chain Ilovepcot's door shut as the loudspeaker blares in her ears

Now what is that all about - I will just have to finish this later she'll be safe as long as she is with the First Mate on the bridge. I'll make sure she is locked in after she gets back from the bridge. I just can not afford another trip to the Federales. If I go too many more times they are bound to find out my secret identity.

Did anyone happen to catch Miss Cleo in the ship's cabaret today?

/
I just happened to trip on some chains that were left lying around outside ilovepcot's door. Does anyone know anything about that?

Anyone? Anyone? (Bueller?) Anyone?

castlegazer, Miss Cleo was excellent in the caberet, but her outfit was a bit over the top and skimpy. Actually, now that I think about it. She looked quite a bit like you - in a wig. And, I did notice that you were not in attendance at the performance I was at. Is there something you'd like to tell us? Are you keeping a secret life from us?

I thought the monkeys were quite cute and entertaining except they kept stealing my sunglasses!

Alright we're close enough to Brazil lets break out the wax and the Thongs and have a party!!! :smooth: :thewave: :cheer2:

:rotfl:

Nope not me - but she did have a lot of information about Ilovepcot and her infatution with pcot. Hmmmmm.

This is the First Mate Speaking, there is an all points bulletin out for Ilovepcot - please report her whereabouts immediately to any officer on the ship

Oh, man, not again!

:scared: Peeps out from closet in hallway. People are everywhere! Maybe I should just stay here til ED's party starts. And to top things off....there's that Miss Cleo warning people about the fact that I WILL be put in jail in South America. Oooohhhh......somebody help me, please! :bitelip:

GREAT NEWS!!!!!! :Pinkbounc Just spoke with "Miss Cleo" and she sees a fabulous future for me in Massachusetts! Yep, gonna be a cleaning lady for a wonderful family there as long as they don't mind a few "cracking" and "swoosh" sounds now and then! :hyper: ::yes:: :duck:

Good morning good to see every one is out of Jail now if anyone see Carlos please return him to the bar as for tours today we have set up a canopy walk in the rain forest and coffee plantation tour for those of you whos supply has run out from Kona
The Skywalk allows visitors to see the forest from a totally different perspective. Starting with a walk on the ground through the cloud forest, you are later able to explore the canopy of the cloud forest - an ecosystem whose secrets biologists are just beginning to uncover.

The Skywalk consists of a complex series of suspended bridges, platforms and paths, built within a privat cloud forest preserve just north of Monteverde. The bridges allow visitors to observe at eye level animals that spend most of their lives in the tops of trees.

This system offers the best opportunity to get to know the complexity and beauty of the cloud forest canopy safely and comfortably

You have planned a very nice day for us, Ed. And, just to warn you, I just invited a few hundred of our closest friends to the thong party in another post. You don't mind, do you?

ilovepcot, just remember you haven't made it safely to Massachusetts yet. Try to be on your best behavior. We're all watching you VERY closely. Castlegazer will be tailing you with binoculars and chains in case you get out of hand at the thong party!

Now, where's that coffee plantation? I'm in desperate need for some java!

Most coffee drinkers know very little about the history of coffee, or how it is grown and processed. The half-day coffee tour , Costa Rica ’s finest export coffee company, offers a close-up look at the plants and the processes of drying, roasting and official tasting. The tour is a multimedia presentation with actors who describe coffee production from the farming of the trees to the internationally treasured beverage. The tour begins in an actual coffee plantation. Afterwards visitors learn the history and processing of coffee. The audience is invited to the roasting facility to see the final stages of coffee preparation prior to packaging for home consumption. Visitors participate in a coffee cupping (tasting session) with experienced tasters. Café Tour is about one hour from San José , in the coffee growing region of Heredia.

Where do you find ALL of this information, Ed? It is truly amazing - you really should be a cruise director. (And, I know. Everyone in my office calls me Julie in reference to the Love Boat's cruise director since I plan everything in the office.) It's nice to sit back and let someone else do it for a change - I'm really enjoying it. Thanks!

Actually was a Travel Agent IRL once (Thomas Cook Vacations and Globetrotters) as I'm doing this little virtual tour I keep finding places I'd like to visit I think Costa Rica just went high on the list.

Ah - that explains all of the wonderful details. Your descriptions and photos are putting Costa Rica on my list too!
