Homeless Dis'ers set sail *sound* on some posts

We offer you the opportunity to visit these fabulous animals in their natural environment and to participate in a research project that helps us understand and protect our dolphins here in Puerto Vallarta. Come with us and interact with a Bottlenose pod. Our guides are professional biologists who will share with you their knowledge, making this excursion a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Remember that these dolphins are not confined and this is the NATURAL way to observe and enjoy them. Do not contribute to capturing more dolphins! Visit them in their own environment because FREE DOLPHINS ARE HAPPY DOLPHINS

Those are two unbelievable great tours - sign me up for both pronto!

Suzannen - Thanks for your help with FantasticDisFamily - she is a very nice women who I swapped some scrapping photos with.

Traci-lyn, start determining what you want for graduation - is it next Friday or today? The world is your oyster on this cruise - we can even make a special stop just for you anywhere in the world you want to go to. :boat:

By the way everyone - TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!
:cake: :bday: :cake:

:bday: :cake: :cheer2: :flower2: :rose: :flower: :flower1: :rockband: :flower3: :jumping4: :wizard: :jumping1:
The HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY to you, CASTLEGAZER!!!!!

IRL, I'd insist on taking you with DH and me....we're heading over to WDW today and have no idea "where" specifically, but know it'll be a great time. You have a great time today, too!!!

:bday: Have a great day:drinking1 here's to ya!!! Nice tours guys. Back to the cabin for me!!

Thanks guys - I really like birthdays, no matter how old I am.

Ilovepcot that would be soooo coool! If we went with you we would have apps at Bongos with Mojitos, then dinner at Wolfgang Pucks dining room upstairs and then head over to the Jazz Club for after dinner drinks and music. Eric Essix is there tonight and he at least isn't their resident performer.

What my DH and I are doing instead is to jet out of work early to go down, again - twice in one week is more than we have gone in four years - to Mohegan Sun, have some drinks high atop Wombi Rock in the martini bar there and look at the stars on the ceiling, then have dinner at Todd English's Tuscany and then go to a cabaret show with Rich Little. Its funny, we love to cruise and we thought this would actually evoke cruising - great food, cheesy shows. But it sounds really fun and we had a great time just walking around and eating there last Sunday. We both don't gamble. I sometimes will try my hand at a slot machine, but that is no way to actually win anything. I can play blackjack, who can't, and roulette but I am too cheap to actually sit there and lose the money it takes to lose to be able to win anything of substance. Not fun to me.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend! Happy Mother's Day!

You won't believe this, CASTLEGAZER.....right now I'm listening to Eric Essex......Daydreamer, For Real, Last Call, Street Scene. Always have jazz playing here! Just may check him out tonight! ;)

:teeth: That is just too coincidental. You have to go over now. Are we in the period of time that they are doing free entry into PI but pay a cover at the door of the clubs?

We are big jazz fans too. We are going to see Diana Krall this summer out at Tanglewood.

Have a great evening out and remember all of us who dream of a night out in DTD. My husband and I loved going out there together pre-child. The best times we did it were while on an expense account for his work - we ate at all the restaurant in a week period and went to PI every night.

Oh Ed:lovestruc puckerup: My birthstone and everything! This is too much - I must not accept, but let me just try it on....... OK I'LL KEEP IT!

Thank you so much.

(25 was a good year - great pick!)

Happy Birthday, Castlegazer!!

I can't post great photos like some of our more talented fellow crew, but I can still send heartfelt birthday wishes!

Great necklace, if you don't want it........

Suzannen :bday:

:wave2: Thanks - I am starting to get really excited. Its gorgeous outside today and I am taking a few hours of personal time starting shortly.

I really like toucans. I wonder if it comes from growing up with Toucan Sam?

Hello Cruisers this your Captain speaking hope you all enjoyed a relaxing day at sea we should arrive at our next destination Monday morning as we sail into port at Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Tour number 1:
Tropical forest, Maneul Antonio
The Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica has been blessed with a colorful and diverse forest. This is the reason why Manuel Antonio National park is the most beautiful and popular, despite its small size, it manages to remain one of the premier nature spots in the country. The mountains here literally meet the sea and the ecosystem is teeming with land, air and sea species.
During the 2 hour walk in the well marked trails of the park, you will likely be able to see the endangered squirrel monkey, (of which, Manuel Antonio boasts the largest population in the world), various colorful and majestic birds, white faced monkeys, sloth's, brilliantly colored land crabs, and multi colored butterflies.
Temperature is in the 80 s, which makes it very comfortable and pleasant.
After the park, you will enjoy a tropical lunch, colorful and refreshing, right in front of the pacific ocean!

Before heading to the ship, there will be time to wander around the shops in the town of Quepos.….

Tour number 2:
The Termales del Bosque Hot Springs offers natural thermal mineral pools surrounded by a lush rainforest. At the Termales del Bosque Hot Springs you can enjoy a relaxing natural sauna and the most friendly Costa Rican attentions. This natural rainforest spa will help you find the peace and quiet you long for. This is a very enjoyable experience which takes place in the midst of lush Costa Rica Jungle. The close contact with forest energy at Termales del Bosque Hot Springs will help you uplift your own natural energy.

Goodmorning everyone - goodmorning to our Captain Ed (great new tag, Ed - I had to investigate how you stepped into that one!).

How long are we here for? I really need the spa this morning (horrific commute IRL), but I can't come to Costa Rica without doing a rainforest tour too.

By the way, Friday night was AWESOME! It was the best time.
This was a great weekend - now I am looking forward to next weekend to relax and rest up a little.
