Home Resort Question

We are trying to make plans for our October 09 trip. Our home resort is at the Beach Club. We know it is a long shot but we want to try for Animal Kingdom Concierge or BLT at the 7 month mark.

However, if we decide to book at Beach Club tomorrow and need to cancel and reschedule for December then are our points locked down for the Beach Club?

Points are returned to your account with no restrictions as long as you cancel at least 31 days in advance. If you book BCV, and then cancel and rebook, you should be able to use them for whatever resort you want.

EDIT: I forgot...if you end up borrowing points to make the BCV reservation, those points would not be returned to their UY, but would have to be used in the UY in which you borrowed them.
