I just went to the doctor because I wanted to start a healthy diet. I am 31, I have a 15 month old boy and I can barely squeeze my fat butt into my size 16 jeans. I am 5'5 and a half, don't forget the half, and I have been overweight most of my adult life. So, as I was saying, I went to the doctor to discuss my options, thinking low carb, weight watchers, praying to Jesus, and he asks me to get on the scale. I hate the scale. I more than hate the scale. I get on there and I am 215 lbs. I was in shock. More than shock, I thought I was going to die. If there was nothing in the world that could have shocked me into getting healthier it was that. The doctor tells me that a healthy weight for me is 144 lb. I am 71 lb.'s overweight. How did this happen? The doctor offered me a drug to assist me with my weight loss. It's called Phentermine. Has anyone heard of this? I am a little weary of taking any drug, but it's supposed to be an appetite suppresent. Any words of wisdom?
