We want to surprise the kids with the holiday sleigh ride at Ft. Wilderness in December. I saw on the website that it says: Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under. We have 4 children. So it would be 2 adults, 16, 10, 8 and 4. Our kids are tiny though. How strict are they on this? Our tiny 4 year old would sit on Daddy's lap so she could better see the lights anyways. I know we could all fit! I would hate to get it all booked and then they say we can't do it!

Does the wagon ride take you through to see the lights?

Thanks in advance!

1) The driver ("Teamster") sticks to the rules pretty closely.
2) If they did not, some other larger family would complain and demand rides for their entire troop.
3) The ride DOES NOT make a big circuit through the campground to see lights.
4) Yes, you only see A FEW, as you stay on the main roads and not the campsite streets.
5) If you want to see the great lights, you need to walk around or rent a cart well in advance (if they are still available).
