Hilton Head refill mugs

Just wondering do the mugs at Hilton Head look like the ones at Disney or do they specifically say Hilton Head? I would like to have them if they say Hilton Head. Not sure if I'll mess with them if they look like the other 1/2 dozen I have in my cabinet.

We stayed there in July and they were the same as WDW. I'm guessing they will be the same as the "new" style as well.

Ahh, I was afraid of that. When do the new ones usually come out at least those would be different, but really wanted Hilton Head specifc ones for a souvenir

I felt the same way. Sorry to ruin your day. It would be great to get a souvenir that is park specific and the perk of a refillable at the same time.

I'm with you. I wish they would bring back the resort specific mugs. I like the variety--we have some that are Beach Club, HH , some wintery ones and then about 8 of the red "Celebrate Today" ones (which I'm using right now ). My HH ones are starting to show wear (decal coming off from too many washings), so I won't even use the Beach Club ones anymore.
I understand it's probably more cost effective to keep them all the same, but I really liked them being souvenirs!

Wow, when we were there last June (and every June for the past 10 years) they were Hilton Head mugs.....very different from the WDW mugs.

They are now the same as WDW. However, even after all the resorts at WDW had switched to one design Hilton Head still had their specific one for a few more years but they finally switched over this past year.

Yeah, we loved our HHI mugs too! We were so disappointed when we went last June and they too had finally switched over to the regular parks mug.

Not trying to start an argument, but will we be able to use the HHI mugs we bought in 2008 when we return this spring?

In all our trips to HHI, we've never seen any mugs for sale. They do have a mug refill station-

but I've never seen mugs for sale. However, we'll be there next month and I'll look again and this time, I'll ask around.

I believe they were in the gift shop at the resort and at counter service restaurant at the beach house.

Wow, that is important info. That is really early, is it because of the time of year or do they close that early in the summer too?

I am guessing it is that way in the summer too since the hours are painted on Signals and the mercantile. Who knows, maybe Disney repaints every season. We've been impressed with how they are washing all the pollen off of things every morning.

That's a real disappointment. I kind of hoped that since the refill stations were outside like that, they'd be available 24 hours. I guess it makes sense that they wouldn't be-I just didn't think they could figure out a way to lock the stations.
