OK. so back to my "Obama bashing ways" which are really just me explaining why I don't like the man and simply can't vote for him....; you guys really should check out this article:

It's pretty pathetic that foreign journalists have to do the job of our biased American journalist during this election.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Amazing how on the other side of the world they can see all too clear what Obama is. Yet here they all act like prepubesnt teens!:confused3

BTW did anybody catch the daily Show the other night. when they were talking about McCains health records.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

McCain released his ENORMUS amount of paper. So Obama released his too....1 page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Really the guy released just 1 page and called that his medical records!:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: He gets more christ-like everyday!:3dglasses ;)

Good Morning my fellow Hillary supporters :)

I think we all know deep down what will happen this week. Enough SDs will come over to Obama's side and he will get to his number. The SDs are just chicken and crowards to go against the "polictial correct" thing to do and they will throw their support behind Obama. They will put the weaker candidate up against McCain. What a bunch of idiots.

If Obama was white (more white then he already is) and the stuff surrounding Obama was the same crap that is surrounding him now, he would have been out of the race long ago.
I DO believe Obama can get away with a lot more because he is part-black. People don't want to be look like racist for calling him out on his faults.
Hillary supporters are called racist because we don't run over to Obama's side thinking he is such a great candidate.
One can say mean things about a white man/woman
But Lord help you if you say mean things about a black man --- you must be a racist then! :rolleyes1

I know Obama will be the Dem candidate for November.
That means the Dems shot themselves in the foot and have lost alot of core Dems.
HELLO PRESIDENT MCCAIN! ::yes::

I do have to admit it will be almost comical to watch the "strong" candidate lose the election and the DNC will be looking like the idiots they are! ::yes::

I am withholding my voting decision to see how this all plays out. I know I won't vote for McCain - so it will either be the democratic ticket - or staying home. I can live with staying home if it comes to that.

At this point, I'm doing the same thing by holding my vote. I don't think McCain or Obama has earned it and will hopefully know in October who I'll vote for. If Clinton is VP, that is a definate vote for Obama, but I still don't think that's going to happen.

All the data is out there. The supers have a job to do and that's to pick the stronger candidate.

The idea that Dem states will go dem is the same for both candidates.

Then there are swing states. There was a mulit-day breakdown of all the state's exit data of the democratic race on real clear politics showing what Obama will have to do if he gets the nod. What it shows was they were equal in Dem swing states. Obama is up in states that the dems have no chance at winning and Hill was up in swing states that went republican last time.

As an example, I think I read-despite what the guy from florida that testified at the DNC thing said the other day for Obama who said his state was the only one-there were 4 states that had more primary voters vote republican than dem. Obama won three. The other state that Clinton won happens to be Fla. One state I know for sure is Alaska. Look at how many people showed up in Alaska's caucus and see if that state has a shot at going dem.

As of today, RCP has Clinton up on McCain by slightly over 60 in the Electoral college and Obama over McCain by slightly over 20. This is what matters. Both Clinton and Obama have about the same numbers, but with Clinton a bunch more states are in play so McCain's number is much lower.

Highlights from a article

Obama's Pyrrhic Michigan Victory

But the Michigan decision is a jaw dropper. By setting aside election results to Hillary's disadvantage, the DNC has saddled its likely nominee with an enraged opponent who now has every incentive to carry the fight through the summertime. Simultaneously, it has told Michigan voters that the DNC - and by extension, its nominee, Obama - is willing to set aside election results it does not like. That cannot have a positive effect on Michigan swing voters - and Obama needs to carry Michigan in the fall to have any shot at victory.

In Obama's favorite game, basketball, trash talk and demonstrating your dominance by dunking the ball over your opponent is expected. Employing these tactics in politics, particularly intra-party politics, is not very good sense.

It is particularly poor sense given that Obama was going to win the nomination anyway because the clear sense of the superdelegates is to back Obama and end the fight. This decision was as unnecessary as it is inflammatory.

It is exhibits even poorer sense because Obama is unlikely to win a close general election without Michigan.

This ill-advised decision should hearten McCain backers everywhere. Come November, they might look to May 31 as the day their candidate locked up the election.

Good Morning Hillary Supporters!!!

What a great win in PR yesterday! I'm so glad she got the majority vote and can hold the Latino vote. The delegates count, even though I know they can't vote in the GE. I'm just riding on the win right now.

As for what happens tomorrow, we'll see. The SD's will definately vote BO because of the pressure thrown at them. It's the guilt speech we hear from OS supporters not to vote for the other guy. The SD's will hear the same crap.

I really don't care what OS say about how we tend to vote or how they say we act over here. "you guys are not democrats". boo hoo!
We have a right to voice our opinions over here and they are not going to guilt anyone into voting for Obama. At least not me. I'll probably just vote and not tell anyone who I voted for. It's a very personal decision and one I don't take lightly. I guess I'll be reading up this summer on both GE candidates and may the best person win.

:lmao: The article was written by a columnist for the New York Post. :rotfl:

The Democratic Party, where every vote counts. Well at least a 1/2 a vote.:rotfl2:

:lmao: You do realize that the Republican Party is giving Florida and Michigan the exact same penalty, right? :rotfl:

I was very happy about PR. It was wonderful, but you are right, the SDs will vote mostly for Obama. Will I vote for him in Nov? I don't know yet, but I am leaning to a write in vote right now.

Same here. PR is sort of bitter sweet.

Careful Jacksonsmom, Geraldine Ferraro pointed out that exact same thing and was bashed and called a racist for it.

Oh wait. The fact alone that you support Hillary Clinton; you're already a racist.

Nevermind.. carry on with the truth....

:lmao: The article was written by a columnist for the New York Post. :rotfl:

I didn't know where the columnist was from; but then I will say this: Pretty darn sad that another country will take the column seriously while the column in the NYP didn't get much attention here in the good 'ol US of A. In America, unless a column is singing Obama's praises high, no attention is brought to the issue. All concerns about Obama are ‘non-issues’. (back to that whole media bias thing) And Obama has a lot of issues.... excuse me, "non-issues".

Again, the GOP is about to have a field day. They are happy it's going to be Obama up against McCain and not the stronger contender; Clinton.

They can say that all they want about me! I am not a Democrat, I'm an Indie and proud of it! :rotfl2:

However, as a veteran boots-on-the-ground, phone-dialing, sign-waving volunteer of TWO Edwards campaigns and one Democratic County Executive campaign, I have earned my right to have an opinion about this primary.

Same here. PR is sort of bitter sweet.

The results show that despite the Obama camp and its supporters saying that he was making great progress with Hispanics -without anything to back that up- they still want Hillary by an overwhelming margin.

There's a lot of talk about a victory in PR meaning nothing. Well, BO sure tried in PR. Why did he made the effort? I think because if he did well in PR. the spin would be that he won over the Hispanic population. But it didn't happen. he lost BIG.

And that's a problem for him.

I'm bringing this little gem over from the Conserative thread:

OBAMA UNSURE HILLARY CAN GET HIS VOTERS
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/02/01/629273.aspx

It includes tid-bit such as:

The lovey-doveyness of last night's debate may have come to an end. This morning, Obama said Clinton supporters would vote for him but the reverse would not be true.

"I am confident I will get her votes if I'm the nominee," Obama stressed. "It's not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee."

Really? Sure about that? You've divided this party Obama - those votes aren't going to come to you very easily just because you say that they will. I will be one HS that will not be voting for you.
