I am ashamed of the DNC as well.
Yes, this election has been racially motivated, in my opinion as well.
Who brought the issue of race into play?
One of the things I am noticing is that the fear that I immediately developed right after the Rev. Wright issue is the same fear that minorities have had to deal with for hundreds of years in this country. The bottom line is that it seems many are scared to trust Obama because he and his wife hate white people.
I do not believe they hate Whites. I do, however, know they feel the pain of what it is like to be discriminated against. I have a friend who is black. She has a degree from Columbia University. Grew up in an upper middle-class black family. Highly sophisticated. She lives in the south now. I was with her one day in a grocery store when I watched a lady grab on to her purse when she saw her walking down the isle. I could only imagine my friend's pain. what did she do to deserve to be judge because of the color of her skin? Unfortunately, however, this is the type of prejudice minorities have been feeling for years, and many do not want to vote for Obama because they are fearful this is going to happen to them? I wonder.......
I watched many use this type of ignorance to play on the minds of the voters. and it has worked.
I think it is very hard for many to understand.
I am not in fear that if Obama becomes out next POTUS he is going to become some Dr. Evil who is going to hand over the control to the minorities of the world? But this is what is going on in the minds of many people I talk to. This pains me to no end.
Like I said, I am going to vote for whomever wins the DNC. I am not going to vote for McCain because I fear Obama's church's defensive racial rants. I really doubt that Barack Obama is the David Duke of Black America. Do you think that if he were Caroline Kennedy and others would be backing him? Don't you think they knew all about him way before this election started?
I will go against my better judgement and answer this....because it was not rude and It cuaght my eye..if i see Rude I dont read and skip over.
I can say that I for one and many here dont feel that Obama and his wife HATE white people...HATE is a hard word. But we do not trust his judgement. Not just for that issue but for some of his other issues that come about of the man that we hardly know.
You bring up the Racial discrimination against Blacks...but it is never brought up about how that is being played against whites. It does go both ways ya know.... I am a woman and am offended by all the gender racism going on in this election. Do you realize that woman are treated in the work place worse than an African American Male. We get lower pay, and less advancement than any race of the male gender.... But that is not talked about...only how the African Americans are treated.
You may not have paid much attention to it but many woman and men have seen it from the HS to McCain Supporters. When the Race card is played against Obama it's an OMG attitude but when Woman are told to go bake cookies it's laughed at. Did ya know that black men had the vote 50 years before woman did? What does that tell ya.
We HS are tired of being called racist because we dont care for Obama, we are tired of being told we are not DEMs because we dont want Obama, we are tired of being called party dividers because we dont want Obama, we are tired of being told to get out of the race since the first day...we are tired of being told that it's HS and Hillary's fault if Obama were to get assassinated, we are tired of being told if McCain wins it's Hillary's and her supporters fault, we are tired of being told that anything that Obama fails at is the faughlt of the Clinton campaign...and so on and so on....
Obama and his supporters take no responsibility for anything. I blame the Media, the DNC, the Obama campaign, his supporters, the Hillary campaign and her supporters, the Internet and the pollsters and the whole kit and kaboodle...
I also look at this as a first time event to be learned from. Bush and his failed policies, a Woman running, a Black man running , the media not knowing how to handle it, the DNC and FL and MI, the Caucuses, the pollsters, the black racists, the white racists, the gender racists, the disrespect, the entitlement of BOTH candidates, the OS and the HS dividing...and so on...
There is enough blame to go around and it is not just ALL Hillary's fault....it is the way democracy has become ...if you ask me the DNC is what is failing us......again and again the DNC lets us down and has not a clue on how to fix it ...or even cares...after all they are politicians and politicians do what politicians do...to benefit themselves.
