I must say that I'm disappointed in these results and that it definitely doesn't look good for Hillary. I agree with a few others that it appears that Obama has it locked up now.

So what do we do? I guess vote for Obama because he's a Democrat but I can't muster much enthusiasm. I wish that I felt better about his chances and him in general. :(
uggg :scared: its close...still waiting for this count to come in is pressing. They are still questioning why it is taking so long....

For the OS that are coming in here congrats on such a great win and a so close if not a win in IN :thumbsup2 sorry but I wont venture in your thread to say that again :rotfl2: I may not be a Obama fan but I get your excitment of the wins...it's a great feeling so I am puting myself in your shoes and I am truly happy for you  and the great feelings that you are feeling.
This was such a nice post. It's not over yet, though. It's tough on all of us Dems to be on this roller coaster ride tonight. And I really need to go to bed! I am sorry your congrats on the OS board werent received very well...but personally, I appreciated it.

Right back at ya:hug:

I am at work...they are talking about a investigation in Lake County on CNN...but I dont know why?????

Hillarys speech was so sad. You could here it in her voice that she knew it was not a good sign. I expect many SD to start going over to Obama starting tomorrow. She will continue on because who knows what will come up. They have said that 52% of Hillarys supportes will not vote for Obama.

She has a lot of work to do to persuade many to go for Obama and Michelle. I may have to start to turn the TV off till NOV and just go to the polls and vote Obama.

I'll keep watching because I want to know what Hillary will say. I'm also waiting for Obama to announce his VP because his choice could mean a lot to me. I suppose I'll vote but I'm not real enthusiastic right now.

Easier to copy and past than explain ...this is what they are talking about and more...got this from the Conservative thread to a reply back to me.

Some observations that I find interesting is listening to discussions regarding Gary, IN. Bob Beckel mentioned that his experience is that in the past, he called the mayor to ask when they would start releasing numbers and his response was, as soon as he was told how many votes they needed. He also said it was very suspicious that over 11,000 absentee ballots would come in at the last minute. Of course he finished by saying he's not trying to imply anything. Yeah, right.:rotfl: I wonder if the Hillary camp will want to contest the results and demand a recount, especially if she doesn't maintain a lead.

What Got Disney said, plus they think it's strange that six hours after polls closed, they weren't releasing even 1% of the results.

What time did the pools close? If it is 7pm local time, then it is just 5 hours because they are on Central time in Lake County.

ETA ~ Either way, it is a long time for even the first numbers to come in. I agree that it is taking an unusually long time to get results there.

No he is not...and they are stating there is hanky panky going on and that it all looks improper. Earlier they were talking about how this area had been known to have corruption in it before.

The major sounds fishy...he wont even release the computer votes...

Yeah, my heart was on the floor just an hour ago. That's because I had high hopes for today. But it's not over yet. It wasn't the best night, but it's not over.

hmmmm funny how it went from 55% to 98% during the time they were trying to get info out of the mayor and calling foul play:confused3
