Just exactly like Yoko Ono knew what it's like to be a Beatle

:love1:

You seriously have nothing better to do than bait the HS?

I thought the OS were supposed to be showing us the error of our ways and getting us to goose-step in line for Obama. Seems to me you're doing a better job of irritating people and helping some HS keep their (far far far) distance from Obama.

No big deal for me, unless McCain picks a great running mate, I'm not voting.

Well, Obama made his decision, on to the DNC and I can't wait to hear Hillary's speech. We'll see if she can rally the troops a little.

I like Biden, really, but still not voting for Obama. :confused3

I'll listen to Hillary but I can't say that I particularly like or dislike this choice. It was certainly very political.

Really though, we all knew he wasn't going to pick Hillary. Who else could he have picked then? It is a safe political choice and will not make any difference for Obama's campaign one way or the other.

Has anyone listened to any pundits today saying that BO didn't choose HC because he feared he'd be eclipsed by her? I haven't been watching all day, yet I heard that from at least three commentators.

I agree with them, but I didn't think anyone would openly say it on TV!

I haven't paid attention yet to the news today. But I honestly believe Obama to be controlled by his ego and that to be one of the primary reasons for his VP choice; but yes, since the msm favors him so greatly I'm surprised to hear that they're actually speaking about it.

I've given up on listening to the commentators. It's all a rehashing of the same old thing anyway.

The latest John McCain ad that hit at 3AM ( ) this morning:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NrQ36Djf2E

Well at least they didn't have her saying that Obama is not ready to be president and McCain is.

3 am seems to be the leitmotif of this campaign. I think Hillary has made a cultural impact with that ad. :thumbsup2

Oh, I guess that means McCain will be picking the runner up with the most votes for his VP. ;)

If not, I'm sure Obama will figure out his own attack ad response.

He'll be forced into it though.

On a side note that thread about HC wanting Obama to win and is she doing enough is a joke. We really have a great grasp on history in this country.

Ted Kennedy had much less support in the Primaries and took the fight to the convention floor. He tried to flip delegates at the convention. He didn't have nearly the support in the primary that Hill had. It wasn't even close. This was against a sitting incumbant Democratic President in 1980. If I remember correctly, it destroyed his career but I'll have to look that up.

But the roll call vote that has happened at every convention since the invention of the wheel is going to make Obama look bad??? Well can't have that happen. Can't let her place in history be recorded as the first woman who had more votes cast in a primary for her than any person in the history of the two party system.

What makes me laugh is that apparently every right wing nutjob and every kool-aid drinking OS knows exactly what Hillary is thinking. Her conduct has been exemplary-campaigning and stumping for Obama, but she really doesn't "feel the love" (according to them) and that makes her a backstabbing witch (insert your first letter of choice here).

I've stopped reading that thread now, I’m wasting my breath. The last poster, one of many, who don't even realize that Obama didn't win the primary - no one won the primary - is what made me realize it was pointless to argue with them.

I still haven't figured out why Hillary is painted as a ruthless underhanded scheming monster when I’ve yet to see her do anything that warrants that accusation. In fact, I’ve seen more examples of those attributes that the OS attack Hillary for in Obama rather than Hilary.

Edited: Never mind, I lied. I went back to that thread. I'm just too darn curious of a person. :rolleyes1

There was a tiny part of me that was hoping BO would pick Hillary. Then maybe I could stomach voting for him and his ego. But alas, BO picks someone who got 9,000 votes as opposed to someone who got 18,000,000. Once again he shows how brilliant he is. Well at least now I can easily not vote for a Dem.

Looks like another 4 years of republican rule. The dems just keep shooting themselves in the foot. :confused3

Are you all ready for the Overtrow at the Convention! Bwhahahahahha BWHAAAAA!:lmao:

Aren't they interesting? Hillary is responsible for all the evils of the world according to some and I certainly don't know where they come up with the nonsense. I kind of know now how Bush supporters feel except he really is responsible. ;)

I personally think that Hillary is doing an honorable thing. I don't think that she likes Obama or really believes he's the best candidate yet she's doing her duty and supporting him. I don't know what more they can ask. :confused3
