Well - all I have to say is that I did not see many Hillary supporters doing that. In fact, all along the way I saw Hillary people saying they will support the whoever the nom is. You cannot say that for the Obama people.

Bullhockey. Most of the Obama DEMOCRATS I know have absolutely said they'll support Hillary. What you're seeing are people from the center and *gasp* even REPUBLICANS that have said they'll support Obama, but not Hillary. I've yet to see a Democrat say such a thing (unless we're now counting Joe Lieberman-type DINOS).

I thought we were going to talk about Hillary...nobody has an opinion on her choice for VP??

I have not read through all the pages of the liberal thread as I got tired of the Hillary bashing.
I just wanted to say this Texan will be voting for her in March. Most of the people I talk to call her a _itch because they apparently don't like strong and powerful women
This makes me worry for how well she'll do here in Texas- however if she carries the Hispanic vote she has an awesome chance of winning Texas.
I too am very, very tired of hearing about Obama. I watched one of his speeches the other night, but finally turned it off as it was apparently never going to end and he didn't seem to be saying much. Oh, also I have really come to detest Oprah as I feel she should stay out of it..........I know she has every right to express her opinion, but I just don't want to hear it any longer.
I would love to have another Clinton in office. It was great the first time and I know she can do just as great a job.

I've seen that criticism of her before from some men, and it pisses me off to NO END! And then she gets crap because she tears up in an interview. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. It's just that your comment is a perfect example of what is frustrating me right now in this campaign. If we (Hillary supporters) speak out about our concerns with Obama we're "bashing"

If we ask why he doesn't speak more about his policy we're told that "we need to be spoonfed" or that he cant address the needs of every silly little individual. Or that we should just go read his book.

Hillary supporters almost 100% are willing to vote for Obama where as a disturbing number of Obama supporters are threatening to sit out the election or even vote McCain. And very few have been able/ willing to give a rational answer why.

Hillary say's if Obama wins she'll go back to the Senate and give 100% to support to Obama. Obama talks about how his supporters won't got to Hillary.

There is a very disturbing double standard going on in this campaign. Why is up to Hillary and her supporters to be the "uniters" in this campaign? Why is it that every single thing Hillary does is ridiculed or dismissed as being for "Political gain" and the same rarely goes for Obama?
Again, I'm sorry if it feels like an attack I truly don't mean it that way. I'm really trying to understand the disparity of their treatment by voters and the media.

I got really irritated over the whole "tearing up" fiasco. Good grief, the woman is human. Frankly, I'd rather have a president with emotions rather than one who sends 4000 young people to die in Iraq and then has a lovely afternoon on the ranch mountain biking.

Obama supporter here who, if she wins the nomination, would proudly vote for Clinton in the general election!! I've even financially supported her campaign! I read somewhere that over 70% of all Democrats would be happy voting for either candidate against the Republican nominee. Of course you'll always find a few Obama people who won't vote for Hill and a few Clinton people who refuse to vote Obama, but they're in the small minority.

Driving to work everyday, I see TONS of George Bush stickers on cars. I would be way embarrassed to drive around with that on my car...........

I hope they do a re-vote, but I thought I read that Florida's Democratic officials didn't want to spend the money. Obviously Michigan couldn't be counted unless they do it over. But there's also the question of who should be on the ballot in Florida--just Obama and Clinton?

Therein lies the problem...... Plus, you can't caucus in a state that held a primary.

They really need to get rid of the caucus entirely - they appear to be very undemocratic........

Biden - a great candidate, and my initial first choice, comes from DE - he would be no help to the ticket.

I don't understand the whole caucus thing particularly well--my state does primaries. I wish it were the same process for every state across the board.

From what I've read - they are held during restrictive period of time where not everyone can attend - and you're usually supposed to stay a couple of hours to talk over the candidates and come to a consensus.

I know - I'm a bad citizen.... - I would not take off work for a primary vote!

I also read that some caucuses were so understaffed, they just allowed people to write a name on a piece of paper and leave - that was not very secuirty-conscious......

Plus you have a case like WV where Romney was the winner in the first vote, but McCain voters vote for Huckabee to screw over Romney.

I've heard Wes Clark's name mentioned before as a potential VP. Not a bad choice, nor is Strickland. I think it really will boil down to what the VP can bring.

I know both candidates are after the endorsements of Gore and Edwards. I doubt Gore would run the VP route again but what about Edwards? Could he bring her the southern states she needs?

Some do, some don't.

As for the argument...nobody ever said exercising your right to vote had to be something you could conveniently fit into your schedule. There is nothing undemocratic in making sure the people casting their vote actually are willing to stand by it.

Personally, I wish I lived in a caucus state. Better to be able to go and cast my vote with other dedicated individuals (this is, after all, a nomination process, not a final vote, which should be done in private) then to see the drive-by crowd that isn't really all that invested anyway.

ETA: In my opinion, the average caucus goer is much more educated on the candidates than the average primary voter, else why would they spend the time?

Romney was NOT the "winner", as the Republicans have a rule that the candidate has to have a certain percentage of the vote in order to win the delegates.
