We will be cruising with our 7 month old DD in about a month. I would like to have her with us at some of the dinners and was wondering what type of highchairs they use in the dining rooms. If they are the kind with a tray I was thinking of bringing some of those suction cup toys to avoid the "there goes the toy over the side" game. Anyone else with ideas to keep her busy would be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

None of the highchairs in the dining rooms have trays. They're all the wooden type seen at most restaurants. If your child is still not sitting up very well, you might want to bring a high chair helper to help them sit. Both of my children could sit on their own my 7 months, but still weren't stable enough for those wooden chairs at that age. Those help, and can be found at babiesrus.com. Also, since there is a table cloth, none of those suction toys would work. I'd bring whatever small toys from home she likes playing with. Both of my children loved those Sassy toys, and there small, so easy to transport. If you really feel you need a reclining highchair, or a tray, bring one of those portable highchairs. It will take up space in the luggage, but will ba godsend if she really isn't ready for the wooden highchairs.
