High Tea

Where do you make reservations for the Hight Tea and when is the first time(after arriving) you can make them? This is the one thing we've not done and would like to on this cruise.

You make reservations for High Tea with the other Palo reservations once you board the ship. The location & time with be in the navigator you get in the terminal.

On the Magic, you'll go to Rockin' Bar D which is on Deck 3, where you first board, Forward (towards the front of the ship) .... Andy

Do it! It was wonderful (or is that Magical?) Get the ressie in Rockin Bar D as soon as you board. Seating is very limited.

If you are not able to get a reservation, you may want to show up at the high tea on the last day, right around the time that it starts, and see if there is availability. Because Disney does not charge a fee, there are many rude people who sign up and do not show or call beforehand. Since Palo does not know that they will not be there until the tea starts, there is no time to call people on the waiting list. We had tea on the last day of the Western cruise, and there were only a total of three couples in the whole place. What a waste, especially since our tablemates at dinner had been unable to get reservations. I think they should insistute a no-show penalty.

Is this only on the 7 day? Or is it available on the 3 and 4 day also?

7 day only.
For those on shorter cruises who are spending some time in the Disney area, try Sherlocks in downtown Celebration. Their tea and scones are YUMMY.

Barb - I agree about the no show penalty. We did High Tea on our first 7 day cruise and loved it. Tried to book it last May and it was sold out. We got put on the waiting list but never called. Guess we should have gone up and tried.

I think it is really rude when people book it and then don't show up.

When I was unable to get a ressie, the maitre'd suggested that I call at 3:20 on the day of the tea. At that time, he worked me in easily. I'll echo the idea of just going up there and sweetly asking. Worst case is that they can't work you in.....
