"Oh well they can win it at home on Sunday then everyoen can celebrate!"

Don't count on it.

BTW Richards made Crosby look like a punk at the end of the game. If you're not gonna drop your gloves at least drop your stick Sid.

I guess if you are going to use that logic, then you can consider 1/2 of the Philly team punks. There are only a few guys that will drop the gloves with Georges Laraque or Hall Gill.
Enforcers don't win the game they only make it interesting to watch.

Oh WOW that one hurt!! In our house Saturdays in the fall are for PSU and Sundays are for the New England Patriots.
That is of course if we are not at Disney.
We are going for Halloween this year and I am trying to talk DW into watching a little football at the ESPN club for lunch. No luck yet, but I will keep trying.

let me make sure I have this straight,......you're calling Mike Richards an enforcer??? I assume since you replied you actually watch hockey, but to call Richards an enforcer. I guess I'm too much of a sports fan , where as I actually know about players on other teams, not just my own.

Mike Richards is a well above average hockey player, in fact he is a marginal star, he gets no press cause he's probably only the 3rd most "skilled " player on the team behind , Danny Brier, and Simon Gagne. Now as I stated before he is not as good as Sniffly Sid as a goal scorer, not even in the same category, but please give credit where credit is due, he far from an enforcer. Physically he and SS are a decent match, SS just doesn't have the heart Richards has.

BTW if I were to choose a player from the Pens to build my team around , it would be Malkin, that guy can pretty much do it all.

An enforcer is any one who uses fighting as a form of intimidation.
When I think of enforcers I don't think of Richards, but in the situation that you referenced Richards was playing the role of enforcer.

All though I am impressed with the dramatic turn around in Philly (worst to beating the first) to say Richards has more heart than Sid is just not true.
I do think Richards is a good player, but from what I have seen Umberger has been the go to guy. Unless of course they are short handed then you have to go with Richards

Oh ya one more thing, as much as I like watching the Pens and I am rooting for them, they are not "my team"
I am, all ways have been and all ways will be a BOSTON BRUINS FAN!!!

Maybe I misread your post , " guess if you are going to use that logic, then you can consider 1/2 of the Philly team punks. There are only a few guys that will drop the gloves with Georges Laraque or Hall Gill. " I interperted that to mean since half our team would not fight their goons, and crosby wouldn't fight Richards you were saying Richards was a goon. My apologies.

Richards was not playing goon he was playing antagonist.

And once again no hard feekings , I love a good sports debate.

Have a magical night.

As for the Bruins I have one question....WHY???? (-;

Born and raised in New England, grew up on skates.
My first love was Hockey, then DW, then 3 DS's.
Now Disney.
Have you checked out the Disney Dads Club Thread?
It's a fun place to post!

My DW has friend , born and raised in Philly, but they for some reason are Pitts fans. (I feel for their children) :rotfl: .
We went to Pitts to see a Phils/Pirates game, I absolutely love Pitts., we had a great time. PNC park was very nice, (citizens bank bp is much nicer though). We did union station and had a blast, we went to top of the incline, and watched the fireworks. It was good stuff, and the people are much nicer than us philly people:) .
I will surely go back.

Thanks:goodvibes. Go Pens!

Have you been for the Food and Wine Festival? If not, your in for a treat!
I was in Orlando last year for business and got a chance to go, it was very very cool:cool1:
