Hi Folks

So glad to hear it went well. Good luck to you Kevin, you can do it!! We'll all be thinking of you. :sunny:

Hi Kevin ! I was so glad to see that you had posted and that you are doing better, although goodness I feel for you, having to lay funny for two weeks! You can do it though, with a little help from those who love ya and obviously we here on the boards adore you too! So hang in there okay :grouphug:! All this will be over and done with before you know it ::yes::!

Kevin...so happy to hear that you're alright! You'll stay in my thoughts until you're fully recovered!! :thumbsup2

Kevin, I'm glad things went well. Do you have any friends who do massage in peoples homes? Maybe they have a massage table you can borrow with a face hole in it.

Have John load up the iPod with lots of books on cd.

John, you are in our thoughts too.

Hang in there both of you.

Kim

Kevin, thanks for the update. That doesn't sound real comfortable. I will be waiting to hear great news when the 2 weeks are up.

Kevin, Lots of warm thoughts and prayers being sent your way. I'm so glad that the surgery went well and hopefully the next 2 weeks won't be unbearable.
I also think a massage table with an opening for your face, with a small TV underneath pointing up, would help the time go faster.

Kevin - hope the recovery goes well. Stay comfortable as possible and get better!

Thanks for the update Kevin. I'm glad your feeling better. :goodvibes

Relieved to hear all is well so far. Hope you continue to improve.

2 weeks?! After that, you may need to see the doctor about your BACK!

Can't wait to hear your voice again in an all new podcast!

OK, not exactly sure what he's doing but it looked appropriate! :confused3

Thinking about you, Kevin!! I hope your recovery goes well.

Catch up on some old Sam Brown episodes!

Body pillows and pregnancy pillows are great when you are forced to lay and sleep in a position you are not used to.

:grouphug:

I'm glad you're back home and recovering. The two weeks will go by really quickly and you'll be as good as new before you know it!

So glad to hear you are doing well and that the surgery sounds so promising.

Others have passed along great suggestions that will hopefully make it physically easier. As for emotional, here's how I coped (I was on bedrest when pregnant with my daughter for 21 weeks): Keep in mind that it is a finite amount of time and every day brings you closer to your goal. Two weeks laying on your face seems tortuous, but will be well worth it for the lifetime of sight you have ahead. Look forward to the time when you are free to walk around at will and try and avoid concentrating on the now.

Books on tape are your friends! and lots of pillows and gadgets to make it less stressful. And buddy, I'd be planning a fabulous vaca while I was at it!

Hang in there!

Kevin,

So glad to hear from you. I am sorry you will have such a trying recovery, but am so glad that the surgery went well.

I'm so glad to hear from you! We will miss you these next couple of weeks! Take good care of yourself and focus on getting better. :flower3:

Glad to hear everything went well. Good luck with recovery, I will throw some prayers your way for sure.
