Hi . First time going to HHI. And first time in years with a baby. Does anyone know if they allow baby float seats in the pools? My assumption is no but ??
thanks!!

And does anyone know if there are baby trailer rentals for bikes- the little seats that pull behind bikes?

I have used baby floats. But they don't allow big kids or adults to use floats.

You can find the baby trailers with canopys that seat 2.
they have the toddler bike that pulls behind the adult bike (where the 5 year old can pedal and sit on the real bike.
they have the little seat the sits on the adult bike.
they have training wheels.

I don't know the price on any item, If the Disney resort is out, then they have some back up contractors to call.

Wow... I'm a little surprised to hear this. We have only been to HHI once (6 yrs. ago) and I don't recall, but at Vero Beach they allow all kinds of floatation devices and other water toys you would not be allowed to have in a public pool. Now, I have never seen anyone try to take in a boogy board or raft though.

We are going to HHI next week and we will bring our own noodles for floating comfort. I'll let you know what we experience.

We have seen baby floats and noodles. I know the lifeguards have life jackets that people can borrow. I don't think I have ever seen big rafts though.

Rob... See you next week!!!

To be more clear, by floats, I was meaning large rafts, and intertubes. While the pool is crowded from 10-5 the lifeguards do not let rafts or lounge floats in the pool. Even if they did, there is no room for them. Lifeguards must have clear site to the bottom of the pool. I have seen adults using rafts at night when the guards are gone and noone else is in the pool.

I don't remember what the posted rules say.

I am actually sitting by the pool at HHI as I type this (wifi hot spot). You will have more flexibility at the beach pool than the resort pool. As someone else mentioned, the lifeguards at the resort pool need to have a clear view of the bottom. They will allow arm floaties on kids and noodles (I *think), but I don't believe they allow rafts.
