HHI...how's the ocean temp in April?

I did a search but didn't come up with anything. We're thinking about mid April, but since the teens are big beach lovers, the water temp is pretty important. We are from New England so anything above 60 degrees is tolerable... TIA

Thanks for posting question. We are also going in mid April for the first time and were wondering the same thing.

The ocean temp may be above 60 in April, but still too cool for me. When we were there this past May, the ocean temp was still in the upper 60's. We were there in October and it was still in the upper 70's and was very enjoyable.

Here is a link to HH air and ocean temps. These are avaerage temps - so figure a few degrees lower early each month and a few degrees higher late in the month.

Not too sure about the water temp but April is a perfect time to go to HHI! It is a great time of year weather wise and peak season has not started yet.
