Hey, Would-ja like to go to Florida? You Becha! Done #168! 5-26-09

You have quite a busy schedule in your life! Sounds like you have a lot of fun and really enjoy your family.

Ok so I'm late, but I'm here. Your TRs are def NOT boring at all!

So what the heck kinda people were these folks you were supposed to tour with, that they didn't wanna do anything Disney?! Crazy.

At least you guys were partying it up!

great so far!

Just down to IL.
It's still a 3 1/2 hour ride one way.
My son has a moto-cross race.
Me and my dh are coming back Sat. afternoon to go to the wedding,
and then he is driving back down at 4 in the morning on Sunday.

He has a race in upstate New York the middle of June,
and we are going to park the trailer/truck at the Buffalo
airport, rent a vehicle and go see Niagra Falls.
I told them it is a fair trade/off for making me do all the
cooking and cleaning when I have to go along.:rotfl:

Sounds like a fun and very busy weekend!

I'd love to see the falls, but I don't know that I will ever get up that way.

Ice cream is a great dinner, by the way.
If the boys aren't going to be home, I'll have a bowl of ice cream or cereal for supper, too.
One bowl, one spoon, no mess. Works for me!

:)
I got ahead of myself.
I'm starting to forget. :(

I was excited that we were going during
The Flower and Garden Show.

We were here 2 years ago and the rose garden was gorgeous.

We were near the Cast member entrance,
which is way on the left and I looked over
to the right expecting to see “tons” of people
walking off busses,
ry%3D400

But there were no busses this morning.
Time: 8:45 a.m.

Purse check was a walk thru
And ticket entry, was “finger print-less”
2 days in a row, we didn’t have to do
the finger scan.

I planned on using the mono-rail
and visit the mono-rail resorts this afternoon
for a resort break.
This is a ride itself, that shouldn't be missed.

And waited for the rope drop to Soarin.
I stood to see Minnie on a stone wall,
gave up,
I knew they did a count-down and
the mad dash to Soarin was on.
First!
(so darn childesh)
does it ever go away?
I was testing my flash
cC

I wanted to take some Soaring pics.
CM made me put my baggalini under my seat.
No pics or video.

And I couldn’t pass up getting later Fast Passes.

We spent a fair amount of time over by the
Aquarium.
We took the Nemo ride in,
lack of line or crowds, so why not.
It was around 10:30 when we finally emerged,
And I thought it would be fun to eat at the Coral Reef Restaurant.
(It was closed till evening).

Club Cool
Ginger Ale for me
I don’t know what dh had,
And we finally, “finally” caught a segment
Of the “dancing fountains.”

Hey Kat, I think most of my calories came from drinking, I don't remember eating to much.

The Falls are tucked up in Upper New York", and it looks so far away too. I'm betting school is almost done in TN. Don't you get out by May 15th?

Sounds to me like you most likely had a better time WITHOUT the other couple!
We honestly did, but WDW is still so magical, and I would rather show, than explain. I think that is why I was so disappointed that they were so hyped up about WDW, yet they kept turning us down. They don't even have any reservations, and I think I actually told them to call AAA. It was on our last day, out by the pool. I'll write about that later.

I'd like to go during the Flower & Garden Show sometime. Heck...I'd like to go any time OTHER than August :sad2:

No videos allowed in Soarin'??? Hmm...didn't know that :rolleyes1

Did you eat at the Coral Reef?

Great Epcot pictures. I agree, the monorail is definitely a ride in itself...that was our favorite part of staying at the Polynesian and we always make sure to ride it atleast once every trip. :thumbsup2

Sadly no:sad2: It didn't open till evening, and at that point we didn't have evening plans yet. I think you can take video of Soarin, you just can't have the video camera out in full view when you are strappin in.

Super-low crowds at Epcot.... ahhh, Heaven!!! :cloud9:

Kathy
I think we hit a "lull" day at Epcot. I kept hearing horror stories how busy WDW was around Easter. I think everyone went home.

Sounds like definite fun! Thanks for the report! : )
Thanks for reading. :)

It's a great 15 minutes ride from Epcot to TTC. And you go past the old air strip the Walt used.

Ok all caught up. :cool1: What a great view from your hotel rm. I was statring at that picture hard and could not see Downtown Disney :rotfl: I wouldn't go to the Wifes convention either not if I had to choose meeting of WDW. LOL. Well anyways sounds like you had a good first day. Epcot is fun too in my first trip to WDW I didn't get to experience Rope drop always woke up a little late and made it just after the rope drop show. I hope I get to see The Flower and Garden Show in my next trip. Waiting for more. popcorn::

I should of clarified, you can see the taller DTD hotels, from my patio. Even when you drive by DTD, the only thing you really can see, is the building where La Nouba is. I have pictures of the balloon, 2 from Epcot and 2 when we were driving by on I4.

That picture of the Monorail is great! I got to see the Brewers in Philly a few weeks ago. Phils lost. A week and a 6-game winning streak later I was at another game. Phils lost again. I have a ticket for June 20. If the Phils lose again I am going to seriously reconsider going to any more games this year.

I have not been having much luck going to Brewers games this year either. They've lost 2 out of the 3 I've been to. We're going to a Phillies game at the end of the month when we're in Philly.

OhMari, looking forward to your next update...popcorn::

You need to switch to being a Brewer Fan. I don't know if I can take these stressful games any longer.

I'm sorry for abandoning it again.
I had 2 first communions, both sets of parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniv. and I think it all caught up to me. 2 of my kids got the flu, don't know if it was Swine, but it sure made us sick. My dh just told me, his head is hurting and he feels dizzy. So, who knows if this is a symptom of it or not. But I'm finally feeling better. I fell asleep for an hour outside on our deck. Just the right amount of sunshine and the cool temperature.

So sorry you weren't feeling well! Glad things are looking up again.

Boy, I hope it wasn't swine flu, either!!!:scared1:

There was a Wife’s meeting at 1:00 p.m.
(no way Jose’) I didn’t need to know
when the shuttle bus was going to the mall.

These are my favorite lines. Taken from the OhMari Book of Pithy Sayings.:lovestruc
