My sister came back from eating in Epcot and said a bird swooped down and grabbed a churro right out of her hand!! :lmao:
She said a few people stopped and told her they got it on film!! Would love to see that video on UTube!! I can't even begin to imagine the look on her face.
We didn't believe her at first, but she swears by it!
Anyone else had their churro stolen? :scared:

Ha ha. Love those birds. They seem to visit often. They stole my daughters churo too in June of 06'. Must be thier fav. :rotfl:

Not a churo, but we were sitting at a table at the Poly pool and my nephew had a bird steal a hotdog right out of the bun as he was getting ready to take a bite  he was one shocked little boy!

add a breakfast burrito from the BW bakery. They divebombed the poor lady and swarmed the food on the ground.

Have also seen a douny stolen from a table on the BW.

When we were in Epcot like 3 seagulls went for this lady's funnel cake. Then more came once the got it knocked on the ground.

We were at Disney last week, and I have never seen the birds so bad as they were at Epcot. We noticed them more around the McDonald's area.
I was afraid they were going to steal the children's fries. I guess they don't eat that healthy stuff, either. :rotfl2:

I saw the birds at EPCOT grab up a boy's McDonald's fries. They are bold as brass, those birds. I saw another guy get his Boardwalk Bakery goodie snatched up by the birds one morning as well.
I saw so many people feeding the birds, it's no wonder they have that problem with them

That happened to my brother too. He was there last week and while sitting down for lunch in Mexico a bird came and grabbed a whole churro....a nice CM brought him a new one...:lmao:

Wow, I'm surprised TDC Nala hasn't jumped on this thread yet.

But she didn't get the churro ripped out of her hand. I did.

It was a few years ago, and we were in Frontierland. I made the mistake of trying to get the lid off the dipping sauce while holding my churro, which was like waving a beacon to the flying rats (aka seagulls) to swoop down and rip the churro out of my hand. TDC Nala had the pleasure at laughing at me at my expense, and I well deserved it. ;)

The cast member was nice enough to replace the churro I just lost, and I made sure I was keeping the churro well protected the second time around. And people wonder why I give the Look of Death to people that feed the birds at WDW.

My DD was about 8 when she was surrounded - I am NOT kidding - by birds at the McD's stand in Frontierland. I used my backpack and basically bowled them all down to get to her. She was screaming.

Another time we watched a group of birds land on a table at the Poly pool and open - again, I am NOT kidding - two sandwich containers and make off with the goods. They did this in two seconds - one bird jumps up and down on the plastic container until it pops and another bird sticks its head in. The lady that was sitting there had gone to take a picture of her family in the pool, and when she got back she was shocked. I told her what happened but I was too ashamed to say that I was freaked out and couldn't save her lunch.
