Hey everyone! What's going on here tonite? I saw the pics of all of your houses, they are all really nice!!

I have been trying to get some stuff done around my yard, and with the FIL here, getting him to and from the nursing home to see MIL...and this stupid head cold....oh, and lets not forget the antibiotics...geesh!

Is Sherry around to get me a drink? I need a quick one. Anybody?? Maybe I'll just get a beer out of the cooler.

besids i just found out a few minutes ago that the facial rewconstruction specialist has bumped my appointment up to sept 13th instead of dec 13th

i limit my intake to wayyy less than i want

i've been recovering for 10 yeras now i really dontthink about it now, at least unless i want a drink


when dw and i met i spent over 200 a week just on booze,, i ordered whiskey by the case instead of beer, and was the guy who would drink that hot beer he found in the back of the truck on wed to tide me over,, i kept booze in my truck for lunch even,, met dw, she pointed out my problem.. oiffered to leave me unless i stopped,, so i did. i have been mostly sober for the last 10 years with an occasionall one to 2 drink max. i have a bottle of whiskey that i used to would have tossed the top when i opened it in the cab thats three years old now


the kahlua is dws i just borrowed a shot

Actually, it is a "pergo" type floor. Me and sis were at IKEA a few years back. We wandered into the "as is" area. There were 3 boxes of this flooring, opened, and taped shut all over. They were marked $8 ea. I nabbed all 3 of them for a total bill of $24!! When my DH was out of town for 2 days, I installed it...what a pain. The flooring had been partially installed already, so some of them were cut oddly, and even had glue on the edges. It was like a puzzle. There was just enough "new" pieces to do the floor!! Talk about lucky...it turned out great. I love it, but I put hardwood in the kitchen/dining/hall. Love that even more.

Michelle, does the floor hold up well with the dog? How about the moisture in the bathroom? We've been considering laminate flooring, but I haven't made up my mind yet.
