Hey all, I heard from Deb today, she's trying to find our thread.......I told her it's the same name as before so hopefully she'll stop by soon.

Another soccer parents meeting tonight.........one step closer to graduation! :rotfl:

Cheer for Jess tomorrow, hopefully, they'll do well, I'll be in Harrisburg on a school trip so I can't make that one. :confused3

Our first afterschool rehearsal was today, state testing is over (TGTGTG) I personally think the kids are now being over-tested....too many days, IMO!

Hope all are well, think of me as I travel across the state tomorrow.

tomorrow I'm working in my first classroom as a learning support aide - not only did I accept a job as an aide - it is in MIDDLE SCHOOL :scared1:

When I told Bob, his reply was: ARE YOU NUTS! you can't stand Middle School kids - I said (with a devilish laugh) "I KNOW" :lmao:

Wish me luck!

Go Phillies (notice I only cheer for them when they finally win - and they beat the Mets, of all things) - NEVER in a million years thought they would win! :yay:

went for a LONG walk today - beautiful weather - oh, wait, the rest of you still work...sorry! :rotfl:

SO, I got this little iPod shuffle for my birthday, of course Barry is loaded on it (NO, I didn't download, Bryan did) and AIDA, and Pajama Game, BUT, the MAIN problem, I accidentally start singing to the songs (especially Weekend in New England) and, apparently it is NOT a pretty sound because the guys tell me to go outside! :lmao:

I actually wrote to his music director today and told him he better have all of us home by 9:00 (Grey's Anatomy!)....how DARE he plan a spring concert on that night.... :scared1:

You have to get TIVO or DVR by then.......yes, I'm jealous, I walked yesterday outside......Jess won both games so far, her arch rival today.......tomorrow another challenge at North Penn (how far is that from you Lu?) We'll be there for the 7pm game, come on over!! :banana:

Tara emailed me that 12 ads were submitted to a real ad agency, 3 were student ads, 2 WERE TARA'S ADS!! Apparently, all last quarter none of the student ads were submitted!! :dance3:

So, SHE LOVES LONDON!! :flower3:

TrayTray is also perfect, of course, I didn't want to leave her out!

I guess JenJen is off to Pittsburgh.......hope all is well, Lu, Lynn :flower3:

They are 6-1-1......good season so far, they beat the highest ranked team in our state tonight!!! :thumbsup2

we went to Pittsburgh yesterday. We took the kids up the incline and visited our favorite Pittsburgh "place" the Grandview Inn. :drinking1

It's on top of the mountain overlooking the city. I'll post pix on the blog next week. We loved our trip! We pricelined our hotel and got the Renaissance right on the Alleghney (sp?) across from PNC Park for $77!! :cool1:

Our seats were with players families which was fun! :woohoo:

Best of all they were undercover so when the rain hit, we were in luck. :banana:

We also had a COMPLETE rainbow over the stadium at one point! Got pix of that too!

WE'll head home tomorrow..... I have NO INTERNET right now. :scared1:

I have to work on that Monday. :sad2:

Three weeks from today we will be childless in Atlanta! :cheer2:

Lucy ~ I already have my DVR set for the Housewives on Sunday and Grey's on Thursday. You HAVE to get TiVo or a DVR....I agree! I LOVE my DVR!

Sounds like you had a nice visit, Jenster!! Drexel was pretty good, despite the rain showers, every time we went outside, the weather changed! Drexel's faculty seemed very kid oriented which was really nice............Jess and I toured around with her BF and future MIL.........hahahahaha :confused3

Actually, they were really pleasant and we had a few laughs!!

Hey Jenny and Lucy, on about August 8th, Ken & I will be permanently childless! How weird is that??? Ken was saying to Jess today, "What are you going to do when you're done practice at Drexel"(school doesn't start until the end of September).....Jess said, "I don't know"...........I thought, "Shut up, Ken!"........I think he wanted her to come home or something! :confused3

If I get totally depressed, you can send your kids for the weekend ....jkjkjkjkjk :rolleyes1

OK, first about me (always :lmao:

It was ANOTHER sleepover for Tyler last night - kids are still asleep (8:30).
I don't know why I bother to make food (as Bob ALWAYS tells me and isn't he always right!) because all they ate was pizza....I made a wonderful looking cheesecake, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, a taco ring (which they DID consume), etc. Now we've got to invite MORE company tonight to eat up the dessert.
It is that boy's LAST celebration for the year - no more sleepovers for awhile. :furious:

I now wonder if he'll remember he is 16 and COULD drive, once he takes the test :scared1:

I'm working most of the week this week. Monday, my baby, Tuesday and Thursday I work as a learning support aide in an elementary school, Friday I work in the grocery store again. One way of staying out of trouble. :cheer2:

It's almost 9:00, gotta get moving and make monkey bread for the boys, but who knows when they'll be awake. Bob just left for work, special sale AGAIN, working on his 'day off'.

NOW, let's move on.
I also have children for you to 'borrow' on a long-term basis :rotfl2:
