Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

are you wired yet?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I am....worked this afternoon in a learning support room at the elementary school...at least i could do THEIR math! :teacher:
Rushed home and made chicken parmigiana...let me explain this concept here....for hubby and me I make homemade parmigiana...for TYLER, he likes those processed chicken patties with sauce and cheese - said they are his favorite meal....then I also made fettucini alfredo for the boys and Bob and I had whole wheat spaghetti. NOW I have dishes!:sad1: :sad1:
I work again Thursday morning in the learning support classroom, must work with a little 1st grader and teach her about pollution (wouldn't you just love for me to explain my recycling plan...running down the streets of Kutztown to try and recycle!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: )
Oh, by the way, tomorrow is recycle day again...don't ask!:furious: :furious:

Well the Wizard of Oz had it's final performance tonight! It's a rap! The kids actually did a great job and were pretty good backstage...just a little hyper!

9 weeks.............:goodvibes

I just have a couple of minutes as I am trying to "repair" the computer wireless router problem. Not that i can, but it is an effort on my part prior to calling someone who will want as 2nd mortgage!!

I do plan on updating the blog with pix and all, but no time, I am quite honored though as my blog has made the 'SIDEBAR" of Tara's blog!!!:cool1: That is quite a compliment!!!

Congratulations to JoAnn and her group on a successful W of O!!!

Lucy?? Are you there girlfriend??

Any Lynn sightings??

And most importantly HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM MOM!!!I JUST LOVE THAT NAME!!!!

I MISSED YOU.....don't leave us again like that!  :grouphug:

Just wanted you to know, since it was Today Show headlines that we are fine here. We did feel the earthquake at 5:40 this morning. It woke all of us up. The glasses were rattling pretty good. It appears we have no damage here at home, so after it is daylight and I get back in town tomorrow I will be doing an inspection.

Off to the city...more later...

Glad to hear all are well............we have alittle Lawall family drama.........Tara is currently in the hospital, she had a small cyst that needed to be lanced in an inapportune area...........she should be released tomorrow, she says she is well, but of course we are worried..........send some prayers up for her tonight!:confused3

keep us informed today, ok? I'm thinking of Tara:love:  :grouphug:

would someone please tell us how Tara is? :confused3 Have you forgotten about your friends? :sad1: We also worry about your family members, JoAnn :scared1: :scared1: (I AM constantly worried about that
Tray-Tray:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: )

Busy day today - bob and I have already been to Wallyworld grocery shopping, now Bob took Bryan for clothing for an interview tomorrow (WE need all the prayers for THIS one), tonight we meet up with friends for a quick dinner and a high school musical near our town, TOMORROW: NYC!
My cousin has a tour bus going to see Jersey Boys, she invited us along on the bus (FREE!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: - we won't be seeing the show), but Bob found tickets on Tickets.com for Young Frankenstein so Tyler, mom and dad are seeing that show.:yay:

Jen in Cincy today....wonder how hot it is there? I heard on the news this morning that it will be hotter here than in Orlando today (and where would I rather be?:beach: ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo )

Thx Lu, for your concern.............Tara called this morning, I have been very concerned since we can't help her.........she had actual surgery with general anesthesia, etc........it was a removal of a cyst.........she stayed overnight and she has friends picking her up today from her school, one of the girls has offered to have her stay over which is so sweet, she is due to come home sometime today, she said she had a rough night but she wasn't in pain when she called......evidently, she has to go to the doctor's office each day to be "repacked" but it is within walking distance of her "flat".......she expects to be back to work by Wednesday. Crazy!:scared1:

Tell us everything about YF, I'm dying to hear since we almost saw it this winter....GL with the interview............

Have fun in Cincy, Jenny, Tara is visiting Jer on the first w/e in May, are there any games that w/e at home? Maybe we could do a "Meet" at the game?

Hope all are well, we are down visiting the Rents this weekend, family shower tomorrow.......:grouphug:

Poor Tara!!!! I feel so bad for her! However, it appears that she is in good hands and good company. Keep us up to date.....:flower3: :grouphug:

The Cubs are in St. Louis the first weekend in May, unfortunately. The Reds were there this week and only go back in July when we are at WDW. I told Jeremy in his blog to definitely go to the Cubby Bear for a burger and a beer. We took Bob and Lucy there and we had a blast. It's more "rockin" on gameday, but it's still a cool place to see. Mark and I will be in Atlanta that weekend for the Reds/Braves series.

Had a good time so far this weekend. John and I went to Cincy and met Mark there. We watched the game last night, then headed up to Mt. Adams for dinner. I cannot believe it, but I woke up at 11 a.m.!!! I slept 10 1/2 hours last night!:scared1:

Tomorrow John is playing baseball in my hometown. :cheer2: So, we will head down there and visit some old friends too.

I updated the blog with our Pittsburgh weekend...check it ou!:surfweb:

Poor Tara
Does she need us?
We have been in Disney Paris.. I took lots of photos for you all I'll put in a link later.
Jenny what has been happening with you?

Disney Paris?? How cool is that? I am anxious to see your photos of the trip!

Lynn ~ We were awakened at 5:40 a.m. on Friday by a 5.4 magnitude earthquake. While we typically don't have them often, we do live near the New Madrid Fault and even closer to the Wabash Fault that comes off the New Madrid. So, it's been 20 years since I felt one, but knew pretty much immediately. Anyway it woke M&M up and they were quickly in our room "taking cover".

Off to John's baseball game in a few minutes. Everyone have an awesome day!

Thx Lynn,

Tara is home recovering, her friends from school have been helping her. The worse was last week when she was in pain and didn't know what to do. She went to the doctors and then the hopital, the care was excellent and now she said she is bored which is a good sign. I'm not sure if she needs you but here's her email......tarataratara@aol.com

Have fun at the game, I'm off to a family wedding shower.......:scared:

Wow, I'm so exhausted, nothing like a family wedding shower, it was so hot, perhaps, we should use the airconditioning??.......sorry, it's my age, I get hot flashes.......:scared1: What a weekend, we spent a few days with Jess and her BF, we really like him and we had a great time but now I'm beat! Worrying about Tara is exhausting. Apparently, Tara's cyst is very common in Ken's family (they've all had one)....found this out today at the shower.:rolleyes1 So anyway, it will be nice to hear that she is back to normal soon.

On another note, Jess's team in in first place 6-1-1......she's playing the second place team on Monday. Very exciting! She's not scoring goals like last year but she is the area leader in assists at this point. Pretty cool!

So, we hope to hear good news from Brian from his interview.....and good news from John about his game. Saw the blog, loved the Pitt pics!:woohoo:

I hope DLP was a blast Lynn.....you have to update us.....we need to know comparisons between all the parks!popcorn::

Well....I had an interesting day. I took John and a friend of his (along with M&M) to play baseball in the town where I grew up. I don't have much family, but the only family I have left there is a brother who is 10 years older than me. He's very different from me and my sister. Anyway, I hadn't seen him for some 10-11 years. So, I just got the nerve and dropped in! It was a nice chat. I met his girlfriend and he got to see M&M. John was at the field warming up, etc. so he wasn't with me. So, maybe someday he will decide that family is important and look me up. I always initiate the contacts with him. Since my dad died 15 years ago, I just don't go down there because there isn't anyone to visit. We did stop by the cemetary so I could show the kids where their family was buried.

John's team won 3-1 and he got a hit. We came home and the the kids and I played baseball in the yard. It was so nice out today! :cool2:

Wow, how brave were you! :grouphug: Yes, our weather here has finally broken, if anything I was alittle hot today! Two teacher inservice days this week............yikes!:teacher:

where do i start?:confused3
Yesterday, NYC - Young Frankenstein - amazing lighting effects (sp?):cool1:
very, very funny.....yes, even Lucy liked it (as Tyler would say, you don't like anything), the last show that I loved was Mary Poppins:banana:
We ate at Heartland Brewery and talked about the time we spent there with you (i'm NOT kidding) and how we wish we could do that again.:yay:
it was a very quick trip to NYC....got up there around 11:30, visited the Marriott for our first Starbucks of the day, headed for lunch, shopped a little at the Virgin Megastore, and it was time for the show. Showed lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes, rushed to catch the bus, and bingo, we're home, very tiring!:cheer2:
I did wake up yesterday with a very swollen eye, i'm not sure if my allergies peaked or I have pink eye - this morning, same thing. Maybe i should see the doctor?:confused3 Today I have a another post-op dr. appt.

I babysit Wed., work at high school Thurs. & Fri.

OK, about everyone else.
Jenny - you are very brave to walk up to that door..I couldn't do it (of course I couldn't, I'm an only child:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

JoAnn - update on Tara, I was also a little warm during the weekend.
Sunday, in NYC we were very lucky, no rain, just very cloudy.
