We've been to Lancaster many times and our long-standing restaurant was Good and Plenty. After they shut down we started going to Shady Maple which we love. We will probably be going to Lancaster next year and we would like to try a couple different restaurants. So aside from Shady Maple what are your favorites? It doesn't have to be a buffet. But of course we love a good buffet. 🙃

Good and Plenty was our favorite. I didn’t know the last time was the last time!

I periodically travel to Harrisburg for work, and sometimes my colleagues and I expand our restaurant rotation into the Lancaster area. Full disclosure that we're looking for something that makes the drive from Harrisburg worthwhile vs. just a spot for a quick dinner.

Not a buffet and not "in" Lancaster (it's in Hershey), but we love Troeg's Brewery. Their snack bar has a robust and creative menu that we use to build our own beer & food tasting menu and enjoy a delicious and relaxed evening on the patio. We also like the food and ambience at Cork & Cap. It feels special without being fussy. Cabalar is a current favorite - so much so that my husband and I detoured there on our way back from a trip to Gettysburg.
