Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

Dayton is about 3 1/2 hours. It is north of Cincinnati. It's a small airport, but is well cared for because it is where Wright-Patterson Airforce Base is. Great views of men in uniforms!

We are now leaving tomorrow as soon as school is over. With the pending weather, we want to be at the airport! If they delay/cancel out flight that is one thing, but missing it is another! Our flight isn't until noon on Sat. so that gives us a lot of flexibility!

in Dayton, my cleaning was cancelled

I will check the weather tomorrow morning, because it 'ain't' looking too promising tonight - things always look better in the morning, right?

Just hope we don't need to worry about snowstorms when we go to Florida in July....I would be really angry!

Mark was giving the kids the little "there was a snowstorm in Florida" routine the other day (referring to Blizzard Beach). They look at him like he is so stupid.........wait! Never mind!

The car is packed (with the exception of my "beauty aids"....I know what a waste, they don't work!) Now it's up to the weather what the plan for the day is tomorrow!

TG, that Lucy kept an eye on that weather report........I expect the same support next week.........Lu?.......what's the weather in Hamburg next week?

Also.......Jen,,,,.........we really NEED TO KNOW what's going on during your trip........we'll be watching.......we'll also check your blog of course........safe travels...........

Sorry, the laptop is staying home. My ticket business (E-Bay) is scaled back this year, so I put the store on vacation mode. There's no "free" internet, so I am too cheap to pay for it. If I find a pc to use, I'll check in. Otherwise, we might have to do the old fashion thing...the cell phone!

No weather problems, yet at 6:45 a.m.!!!!

Hey Lynn......great to hear from you.........I'm psyched to see you guys too....it will be surreal.......yes, you will meet Ken, Karla, Trevor & Keenan (my younger bro's family) and Tom & Beth (my older bro and his wife) Yes, Mum is being stubborn.......I told her you were coming but no luck

I can't wait, of course, I haven't packed yet.........

I just checked the weather and it should be alittle chilly so I get we pack alot of warm clothes........

Jenny, we need to know that you made it thru the snowstorm..........

Tara was told there were no more tix but maybe you have some idea who to contact.......if not, we will meet you at the hotel and figure something out......one week and we're heading "across the pond"............

Jenny called while we were at the music fundraiser....said they made it to Dayton but the last 45 minutes were very tricky....they tried to get out tonight but of course, no go.....wonder when their flight will leave tomorrow....and, yes, i believe she IS off the wagon

unfortunately i THOUGHT her flight was at 9, but it is 12 noon
still snowing in Dayton
she was feeling a 'little bit under the weather' - and it wasn't the pizza she ate last night (as Marshall said) - remember, the two words here are "wagon", "off"
I told her to call me when she knows more - they were also thankful they booked a room at airport - the hotel was packed.
As I'm checking the forecast for Dayton, it is still snowing

oh, joannster, i just fell outside, getting the newspaper, fell off the curb, and this time i'm not laughing, scraped my hand that i had surgery on (and it WAS healing) and hit my head...let's just say i have a huge headache right now and my hand is really hurting....needless to say - what will i be doing today....trying to heal (AGAIN)

this was going to be a HUGE workday for me...hopefully it still will be....
since I'm NOT GOING AWAY like everyone else, thought i'd keep busy by organizing around here (all of this stuff around this house - meaning paperwork - is unfortunatley MINE! )

Tracy has arrived in Germany! Her flight had no delays and arrived on time....how nuts is that? They went to the fishmarket? and now they're sleeping! I told them I want pictures of the two of them on the blog!

Very blustery around here as well..........hopefully today will be nicer!

Tonight, I held a parent's meeting for Jess's HS soccer team....we raised $500 so far and I need about $3000.......we are holding a soccer clinic at the end of the month........

On another note.....my brother Tommy, his wife and their twin nephews have decided to join us in Germany......all four of them have yet to obtain passports, however, they have all bought plane tix.........welcome to my world.....

On another note.......no, I haven't packed yet, cleaned yet, but I did rent my car and reserve my parking spot at JFK!

Send me your address by PM and I'll definitely send you a postcard....just in case I forget my address book..........

I'm bringing my laptop.....

Oh yea, my other SIL, plans to visit every city in Germany during the 6 days will be there....... .......don't think we'll make the week at this point.......
