Lucy: I will try to write to since it is you and me against the world..........
The Germany trip got bigger and bigger and now there are so many people going; cars being rented, trips planned throughout Germany that that country will never be the same.... In the end they will all have fun. My husband really was very interested to visit the "Motherland" and I am happy that he has this opportunity and to share with the family is always good!! Lucy, why are you falling so much--you are too young for this....Old people are supposed to lose their balance not you. I am hoping that our gang has a troublefree flight; that they get there safely; eat great food and see the sights. I was amazed at all the last minute plans to come on board...

Anyway I know Lucy is just saving her pennies so she can visit the UK with Joann in June!
You have to come and see us because it looks like our Jet setting days are over for a while. Keith just heard he may be made redundant on April 3rd. We will know more next week.
Our summer trip is all paid for so we will still come this summer but it looks like Uk hols for the next few years unless he gets lucky with another job oh well we enjoyed it while it lasted.

Yesterday, dead battery on my car, today, Bob runs out of gas on his car!

Just made a pie to take to work and discovered, half way thru baking, i forgot two ingredients! ...pie went in garbage and had to make another one (for work) - YES, I said work, working all five days this week....hope I don't need to go thru this depression AGAIN where you and Jenny are both on vacation and to get my mind off of your vacations, I must work. Don't feel sorry for me, though - I choose the jobs and all the jobs this week I wanted

THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING, I was frecking out!....... ........I was afraid you hadn't gotten out of bed due to the depression situation, look, I'm just glad you've been baking......I know you'll be fine.......... no haven't started packing yet.......I'd rather wait till the last minute and pack all my faves when they're out of the wash.....seriously, I could really use off tomorrow.....(I guess not ).......sort of guardedly excited, really can't wait to see the Tara......it's been too long.....probably will have to book London.......can't not see my babies for this amount of time....it's not healthy...... (not sure why I put the bride one in)............maybe it was a subconscious move on my part?

Disboarders: All is calm here in Brigantine. Passports have been obtained; airline tickets are purchased and everyone should be packed--I know Bill is doing his part right now.

As soon as I know that the plane has landed in Hamburg, I shall be relieved as most of my family are in it........ After that it is up to them to enjoy Germany.

Lucy, you will be fine especially if you are planning on London later on....
Life has ups and downs(so sorry to hear about Keith's job) but the sun always comes out... I certainly hope that Keith gets another good position soon!!

I plan on doing some cleaning, etc. to make the time pass until everyone is home again. Hope you all have the best time ever, Love Alice

YEP, Jenny and family in Florida - they were in WDW from Sunday-Tuesday (lost Saturday due to snowstorms in Dayton), then moved on to be with their Reds. Jenny has the funniest "mallory" story to tell you - I'll let her do it! She'll be back next week to chat with us!

Well, I'm packed and ready to go!! Whhhoooppeeeee, getting excited now! The next hurdle will be making it to JFK in under 4 hours!!

I plan to bring the laptop so I should be able to stop in with updates, we'll see?

as Lucy mentioned, our trip started out rough. What started as a two hour non stop flight into Tampa became an 10 hour stay in the Dayton Airport, a four hour stay in the Atlanta airport before landing at 4 a.m. in Orlando. Not a grocery store open, so we opted to use the food at WDW...we all fell asleep at 6 a.m. at BWV. Mallory "sweetly" came into our bed and said "Mommy, Daddy, it's 11:30 and the pool is open!!! We did some pool time then headed to the MK for a few rides. Mark, John and I had 7:00 ressies at LeCelier and M&M went to the Sandcastle Club for some kid time. Mark picked them up in time to deliver them to me for French pastries and Illumination. Hence the quote of the vacation; let me give you the set up. It's VERY CHILLY and Mallory is tired. When she is done, she is done. So, we are about two minutes into Illuminations whe she said, "Mommy, can we go back and go to bed now?" I explained to her that Marshall really wanted to see Illuminations. That is when she said, "But Mommy, I am sure it's on the internet somewhere, like You Tube!" OMG!! THis is an 8 year old saying this!

The rest of the tme at WDW was park hopping and pool time. I have to say that this was the most relaxing vacation that we have had WITH KIDS in our lives. Our one little difficult one had a great trip and has matured SO MUCH. As Bob & Lucy can verify, his January trip was AWFUL, so we were so amazed. We really built him up. His brother even VOLUNTEERED to spend time with both kids giving us a little "BREAK"!! He really took the lead this trip which was contrary to his latest behavior at home.....you've all raised teens, so this is not earth shattering to you! Mallory I think had a good trip because she was not fighting for attention. We are all now looking forward to July in hopes that this pattern will continue.

hey all........we made it to hamburg and we got to see lynn - keith.....had a great time.........we bought pizza together.........went to fishmarkt.....drank hot chocolate........froze our butts off in the rain and did a bus tour......lynn and keith were quite wild at the fishmarkt, they bought a hamburg flag and a fish sandwich with the tail hanging out.....jkjjkjkjkjk........seriously, so excited to see them!!!!.......also, dad is doing well having the time of his life with his german cousins......he learned how to eat sausage with no bread by holding it a certain way so the mustard didn´t soil his shirt........long story.......hope all is well....heading to berlin tomorrow......talk to you all soon!!!!

Glad to hear from you guys! I just got an email from Alice. She wasn't sure Bill would make the 5 a.m. call for the fish market....I knew he would!

I prefer my fish with tail! We always leave it on for catfish!!
