Here are the MNSSHP dates

EVENT DATES
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on the following dates:

• August 25 and 29, 2017
• September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29, 2017
• October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2017
• November 1, 2017

This makes it so 4 of the 7 nights of my trip are party nights. I posted else were that between August 25 and December 22, MK closes early 53 of those 120 days. Isnt that a bit excessive considering we are already paying so much for admission and MK is closing early for almost half the fall and early winter dates?

Yeah that's some serious holiday creep. Yeah I get it, monetize those otherwise empty nights, people want it, blah blah. But that's just too early. As for the other nights, that is the downside of that time of year. Our main vacation is now shifted to late may/early june. Hopefully the more frequent late nights will make up for what I expect to be bigger crowds.

I don't mind the dates - we will be going to the party on 10/26, braving the non party crowds (at night) 10/25, 10/28 and probably 10/30 when my sisters arrive. We plan to spend other nights at Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs!
Oh and we can also go 11/2!

An extra day in WDW is the best kind of schedule change.

Hey! It has been quite a while since I was on here. I just wanted to say that my trip has been moved. We'll now be going in Nov for my daughter's bday. Hope everyone has fun. I'm sad I'll be missing the Halloween party, but I'll be seeing the Christmas one instead.

Hello everyone, I'm from Boston. My family and I have a trip planned for Oct 21 - 28th (debating about adding on an extra day!). We are very excited about attending Mickey's Halloween party.

I have 2 kids, my daughter will be 9 and my son almost 4 at the time of the trip. Our first time visiting Disney (for myself and husband included) was 2 years ago. We were instantly bitten by the Disney bug and can't think of a better vacation for our family.

Just extended trip to 9 nights but DH doesn't know it yet. He'll find out soon enough. I've started planning on park days and I'm seeing some October hours but the hours at DAK in October are not great. Open every night until 7:00. What is with that anyway?

I am feeling so excited! I got all the ADRs I wanted (minus the ROL package since they arent released for October yet ) and the party days are working out as I expected. Now I just have to hold out for the summer southwest sales and everything will be coming up roses

They always take forever to update those hours. I'd hope they would at least stay open until 9 like Epcot and HS

I agree. Since you almost have to plan everything way ahead and they encourage that, they don't always to want to cooperate.
