So we heard the crowds were up in the last few days....but I can say they were not at MK TODAY. WE FORGOT TO USE ONE OF OUR FP because the lines were so low. We met mickey, tink, Merida, Snow White. Rode everything except pooh, speedway, tea cups and splash mountain, and were back already.:thumbsup2 I have no idea how well FP+ works yet because we did standby all day except for 7DMT.

Sounds like a fabulous day!

Keep the crowds down for me will ya--I'll be there this weekend. :)

Thanks WDW4rfam for the report!

Keep us updated in the coming days if you find the time. Are you planning to go to Epcot?

Oh how I hope the crowds are like this at MK next Sunday:cloud9:
I know the later that it gets in September, the larger the crowds can get. I just hope they stay low through September this year :thumbsup2

Is it a MNSSHH party night? I will be there in 5 weeks and am planning on hitting MK on party days b/c of Josh ' s recommendations. Hoping that works for us too!

We'll be there Friday after 2 very, very long days of driving with a 2 yr old in the car.:scared:

The least I deserve is low crowd levels, so please let this last just one more week!

Same here. DH and I are coming in 9/23. Planning on MK Sat 9/27 and lots of Food and Wine time in between. Keep those crowds low and the rain at a minimum.

Glad you had a great day!

I'll be there Tuesday - woot woot! My first visit in September, and I can't wait to experience the September crowds. ;)

I was at DHS yesterday, and the crowds were horrific. If it weren't for FP, we probably wouldn't have seen what we wanted to.

It has been extremely busy the last two days. I don't think it was a level 5 on the crowd calendar it was more like an 8. Reminded more of summer crowds. However on Saturday we were at HS for EMH did TSM at rope drop no wait then did Star Tours then GMR with a line as it wasnt opened till 9 went back after 9 to use FP line wasnt long. Went to MK and got 5 more fast passes. Evengot 7DMT 45 minutes later. So don't give up for same day fast passes

I wonder if some of the crowds at DHS were due to the Frozen activities? Next Sunday, Sep 28 is the last day for many of the Frozen offerings. So, yesterday would have been the second to last weekend with the Frozen Fireworks. I wonder if that contributed to the crowds?

The crowds went back to school in Georgia! That would include us. But it wasn't summer crowds by a long shot. Looking forward to another September trip next year. But no kids this time. But the following year, everybody is coming! Just have to decide a time that works.

LOVE reading this! We arrive late Wednesday night. We are planning some F&W and hopefully MNSSHP on Sunday night and then flying home Monday night. It's a short trip for us, but hoping there will be low enough crowds that we can make the most of it! :)

We were in the parks last week. I used the Lines app to keep up with wait times. We rearranged almost all of our FP Once we would see that the wait wasn't long! If it was 15 min or less we would switch our FP to something else and wait the 15 mins!!

The Frozen stuff is possible. Didn't even occur to me.

Yesterday was the day we arrived, so we pretty much checked in then headed straight there. Today is MK day. Fortunately, we aren't huge fans of HS, so it wasn't a huge loss, other than fighting crowds.

It looks like it is just the park you choose to go to for that day:scratchin
The preditor websites have been hit or miss over the past 2 days:
Using TP, the predictions and actuals for Saturday were:
MK- 5 actual- 2
EPCOT-4 actual- 3
HS- 4 actual- 3
AK-4 actual- 2

EasyWDW-only had 1 recomended park- AK.
HS, MK & EPCOT not recommended.

For Sunday on TP the predictions and actuals were:
MK- 3 actual- 1
EPCOT-4 actual- 3
HS-3 actual- 6!!!
AK-4 actual- 5!!

EasyWDW- MOST recommended MK and recommended AK.
HS & EPCOT were not recommended.

I was surprised to see Sunday more crowded than Saturday but I guess Saturday is a big travel day.

Today TP is showing:
MK- 6
EPCOT-4
HS-2
AK-4

EasyWDW is showing most recommended as EPCOT, highly recommended HS. Not recommended are AK and MK. So tomorrow we can see how those predictions turn out :)

I was there Sat and Sunday. On Saturday, I thought MK seemed crowded, but the wait times stayed fairly short. Epcot, on the other hand, seemed ridiculously crowded in World Showcase. It was the first weekend of F & W, I usually go in late Oct or early November. I just went to listen to Revolution and Voices of Liberty and ride Maelstrom :-( so not sure about wait times.

Sunday I went back to MK and it was noticeably less crowded. I assume because it was a party nite. All wait times were good (even PP!) except 7Dmt was never below 45 minutes. We hate lines of any real length but rode a couple without fasspasses. (we were only just there about 2 hours - APH).

I think the Frozen fireworks and MNSSHP/early closing must have had a huge impact on crowds this Sunday, with many people picking DHS due to those two factors. I kind of wish we could have added another day to our trip (we left Sunday morning) but we were all tired and sore after just 3 1/2 days of nonstop parks and dining! I never thought my kids could handle rope drop to Fantasmic, but they did! :woohoo:
