Here’s where we ate November 22 – 30, 2002.

O’Hana – first night meal and as always wonderful. We had a great view of the fireworks and the water parade. The food and service were top notch. I still can’t get over how large those shrimp are!

Rainforest Cafe – Animal Kingdom – lunch here was great. We’ve eaten here several times and this was by far one of the better times. The food (potroast, veggie burger, cobb salad) was great. Had a PS and wait time was minimal.

Hollywood & Vine (F! Dinner Package) – We were pleasantly surprised with this great meal. We took the first dinner seating (3:30pm) and it really worked out great. We had time for a couple of attractions after dinner and before F!. Our favorites here were the prime rib, spoon bread, and strawberry shortcake.

Cinderella’s Royal Table – as always we love this breakfast. The food was wonderful and the characters (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, Belle, Mary Poppins) were great.

Wolfgang Puck’s Express (Downtown Disney) – we loved the pizzas here, but were disappointed that there were no children’s choices. DD’s meal was over $9 just for chicken strips. The wait for the food was pretty slow as well.

Tony’s Town Square – Character Lunch – we loved this great lunch. Our server was so great and encouraged us to try lots off the menu (it’s all you care to eat). The chicken parm was incredible as were the salad and brushetta. The characters were also great here.

Boulangerie Patisserie (France) – I did not eat here, but 2 from our group did and they loved it. The prices and food were great.

Chef Mickey’s (Thanksgiving Dinner) – This was such a fun and memorable dinner. It was amazingly not crowded and we had tons of character interaction. The food was great (loved the prime rib, turkey and dressing, parm potatoes and the incredible desserts). Goofy and Donald had a little bump-up and both actually fell down. To help play off this mishap they rolled around the lobby being really silly, even pulling my DD down to the floor with with. She loved it! We were video-ing and snapping pictures like crazy.

Storybook Princess Breakfast – What a fun breakfast. We loved being in World Showcase before it was open and the restaurant is so beautiful. Our characters were Cinderella (yes, I know I was surprised too), Mary Poppins, Belles, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty. We were disappointed that Jasmine was not there, but excited to see Mulan. They told us it was too cold for Jasmine (it was 50 degrees). The food here is basic breakfast fare and served in a skillet. One in our group does not eat bacon or sausage and felt like the eggs and potatoes had a meaty taste since they were all in the same pot. I’m sure you could ask for eggs and potatoes and french toast on the side for someone, we will next time.

Rose & Crown (Candlelight Processional Package) – I had wanted to eat here to see the fireworks. The problem came when they moved the fireworks back to 9:30pm and then the weather was so cold we couldn’t bear to eat outside. We waited for almost 30mins and then we were seated outside and about froze. We ate quickly and hurried out. The food was ok, but I doubt we will eat here again. The best thing at this place is the fish and chips.

Feel free to ask any questions!

How cool about Cinderella being at the Storybook! How was the character interaction at Storybook - was it rushed at all?

Thanks for the reviews!

We enjoyed Tony's, Chef Mickey's and CRT, too. I'm already thinking about where we should go in 2004 besides where my dh and I should go this summer when we travel sans the kids. After your review I'm thinking O'Hana and Hollywood and Vine are likely to be on our list of PS's.

We did not feel at all rushed at the Storybook breakfast. We were seated at the 10am seating and it was obvious that the restaurant had just had an entire "turnover". About 10 mins into our meal the princesses started to come around (about 2-5 mins apart). We talked at length to most of them. Cinderella about her new "winter" dress, to Mulan about how we had searched for her for two years, Belle about the Beast being with her later that day and where to find them, and Mary Poppins just good chatter, she's so funny. We enjoyed the interaction better here than at Cindy's. Have fun.
