Help with Backstage Magic Tour

I have this booked for Sept. If you look on the WDW site, it list all 4 parks. Look on the Dis site and AK is not mentioned. I thought I read on here that the parade is no longer in AK, or ending soon. I just talk someone at Disney that said the parade is not ending and AK was still part of the tour. I was on hold while she contacted AK. So who is right? When I booked it AK was part of the tour. Thanks

the AK parade is no more

I have been on Backstage Magic twice......2012 and 2007ish. We never went to AK as part of it

That is so funny, because I sat and argued with this lady. I told her I was on the Disboard site, and of course she said that was not an official WDW site. I said I will see who is right in Sept. and let her know.

I also have taken the tour twice, in 2000 as well as maybe 2007 or so. No AK on either, but I have read reviews in recent years where it was included, and it is included on the official Disney site, though referencing the now defunct parade.

We did the tour in Sept. 2013 and yes, we went to the AK, and toured the warehouses where they kept the parade floats

When we went on the Backstage Magic Tour in 2010 we went to Animal Kingdom briefly to see the parade float warehouse, and saw the very end of Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. I think that parade is no longer in Animal Kingdom though.
