Please help me with my Epcot touring plan. This is our first time going to Epcot with our teenage daughters (last time we went they were 2 and 4). What we want to see is very different than any other time I've visited Epcot, plus our tickets don't allow us to enter the park until 4:00. We do get EMH and will eat dinner before going in the park, so will have a full 7 hours. I think the last time I've been to Epcot without young kids was on our honeymoon 23 years ago. Oh, and we are staying at the Dolphin so will be entering the park at the International entrance. We will be there on Friday 8/22 so hoping for moderate crowd level.

Here are the attractions we want to hit:

France, including Impressions de France film
UK
Canada, including O Canada film
Norway, including Maelstorm
Spaceship Earth
- Mission Space (only 1 person)
- Soarin' (my plan is to FP Mission Space for 1 person while the other 3 FP Soarin' at the same time)
Test Track
Seas with Nemo & Friends

Optional, if we have time:
American Adventure
China, including Reflections of China
Italy
Japan

Here is my tentative plan:
Enter park at 4:00
France 4:00 - 5:00
UK, Canada 5:00 - 6:00
Soarin'/Mission Space 6:00 - 6:30
Seas w/ Nemo + that pavilion 6:30 - 7:00
Spaceship Earth 7:00 - 7:30
Test Track 7:30 - 8:30 (do during EMH if line more than 30 minutes)
Norway, China, other countries 8:30 - 10:00
Repeat 1 or 2 rides (TT/Soarin' most likely) 10:00 - 11:00

Your plan sounds reasonable enough to me. Since we are local and it's be so hot the earliest we've gotten there is six or seven. We were able to ride Spaceship Earth, Living with the land, see the Jewel Dragon Acrobats, and British Revolution in the span of maybe two hours. Also if you are interested in seeing illuminations then I suggest going to either Soarin or TT then becuase the lines drop to like 5-10 mins while the fireworks are going

You will have to get your FP+ set up for Test Track and Soarin' well in advance or you won't get to ride without a long, long stand-by wait. By 4:00 PM there usually no FP+ times available for either of those attractions. Stand by for Soarin' can get up over 2 hours. Test Track too, although it has a single rider line that can help cut the wait time down. It is possible with the EMH that you might get into Soarin' or Test Track but I wouldn't count on it. Even Maelstrom can have a long wait. Things have changed a lot in the last few years, especially the last few months with FP+ and all. Also, crowd levels have been higher than historical data has shown. Go with reasonable expectations and don't sweat it. Have a great time. EPCOT at night is really nice.

Sorry, forgot to mention I have FP for Soarin' for 6:40 - 7:40 but will move that earlier if I can. The FP for Mission Space and Maelstorm are available almost any time. We are skipping Illuminations so may try to do TT during that time.

If you already have an FP+ for soarin and don't mind skipping illuminations then you'll be fine. I forgot to mention in my previous post that we did all that last Sunday with no EMH and left before illuminations got started. Also I think it's a great idea to go to EP on 8/22 and not 8/23 because I have a feeling it would be a LOT busier with crowds that can't et into HS

Does the Mission Space rider not want to ride Soarin'? I think I would make the Soarin' FP for all of you. Then, while the MS rider is doing their thing, the other 3 could ride TT in the single rider line. And all of you can ride it again together or in single rider line. If you time this during Illuminations, I think it will work.

I made a few changes. Our Soarin' FP is now for 5:55 - 6:55 and all 4 of us will ride it. We also have a FP for Maelstorm for 7:45 - 8:45. We'll check the standby line for TT around 9:00 during Illuminations or just do the single-rider line, then do Mission Space during EMH after TT.

I'd like to FP Mission Space but can't get the timeslots to work.
