Help please - can't decide whether to change FP's or not

I currently have the following plans for next Tuesday:

10:00 breakfast at CRT at MK - planning on riding some rides, then taking an afternoon break then going to DHS in the evening. I have the following FP's booked:

5:50 - 6:05 VotLM
6:35 - 7:35 TSM
8:00-9:00 Star Tours

I'm rethinking my FP's now and wondering if I should change these to MK in the am and then trying for 4th+ FP's at DHS. However, right not it says there are no more Star Tours FP's available so I'm not able to change it to an earlier time, and I definitely want us to be able to ride TSM, hopefully a few times (was thinking before park close). We have several days that we'll be visiting MK, so we don't really need more there, but it also seems like kind of a waste to not have any booked until the end of the day when we don't have the possibility to get more. Opinions? I can't decide! :confused3:confused3 TIA! :goodvibes

I would leave it alone. I'm having this same dilemma where we're going to Epcot one morning and I made our FPs for MK later that night, and I'm toying with the exact idea that you are. It stinks being in a bind all morning but I'm planning to leave it. I want my nighttime FPs guaranteed and I think we'll be able to get enough done in the morning without them.

How big is your party? That makes a big difference on how likely it is you can get 4th+ FPs.

If its better for your touring plans on a particular day, then the FP+ are not wasted. If you want an easy morning where you ride whatever you don't already have FP+ some other MK day, then that should be fine! Unless you tried 7DMT or one of the mountains standby, I personally think TSMM is a much better use of a FP+.

I once only pre-booked FP+ for Frozen Ever After in Epcot for 7-8pm. It was my arrival day and all I wanted was that ride and dinner in Mexico. It was a great night!

I thought about it like this. Will I be able to ride a lot in my morning park without FP? Yes. Will I be able to ride a lot in my evening park with possibly no FPs? No.

I decided to just leave it also. Should be interesting to tour without any set plans for a few hours!

We have 4 in our party. I keep reading that oyhers have great luvk getting good FP day of by refreshing often, but the fact is I can't be on my phone constantly because dh and I have to have our eyes on ds6 and dd4.

Thanks, I agree! We're mostly going to MK that morning for the adr, so it will hopefully be an easy going morning.

Sounds like a fun night!

Nice way to look at it!

Well, since it's 4 of you and 2 are young kids, I'd leave things the way they are.
If it was just DH and I, I'd risk changing to AM FPs and go for 4th+ in the evening. I looked up FP availability yesterday (same hours and crowd level as projected for next Tuesday) and there were FP+s available for TSM, Star Tours, and VotLM. Like it was 7:35 and the next FP was for 7:45, so basically immediately.

This is an important point. i was there last September and my friend asked for ToT while we were at the park. I refreshed a few times but then it got to the point where my nose was buried in my phone and I really didn't enjoy One Man's Dream - one of my favourite attractions. I gave up, we didn't ride ToT (I was sad because it was her first and likely only trip) but it was the right decision for us. The rides are not always worth it. She was much happier after I quit stressing about getting FPs and we had a fab time on everything we were able to experience.

Yeah I agree with what everyone else said. Leaving it alone is probably best. Afternoons/evenings can be difficult to get fast passes sometimes.
