Help planning presents for a 6 yo

My nephew is going to Disney with us in October and it will be the one time only trip for him so I am trying to make this as special as possible. I have booked all the big character meals for him, bought tickets to MNNSHP and even went all out on the hotel. Now I am trying to think of some gifts to either send down for him or to take with us and I am looking for ideas. I only have 2 DDs so I am looking for help from moms with boys. Also if I send things down ahead of time is there anyway that I can get the Poly to put them in his room for him to find upon arrival. My DDs are a little bit older so I am not worrying about this for them. I will just give them cash to spend as they please instead. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are a couple places you can order from to get things to send down. I am sure someone will post them. I looked at them but decided they were to expensive for me. Maybe get him an autograph book, some pennies and quarters to do pressed pennies (you can also buy the pressed pennies book). I am going to do a present for each kid in the hotel room. I am going to pack them in my bags then we will all go to the pool when we first get there (mom will go last having to go back to the room to "grab the sunscreen") and I will put out the gifts so when we get back there will be a surprise. I will probably make them from micky or a favorite character (a lot of people call these tinkerbell gifts). I am going to put a tee shirt in (got at disney store) probably some pj's a small toy or doll disney themed. those type of things. From what have read it is pretty much impossible to get anything put in a room because you haven't checked in yet. Maybe depending on the age of your older daughters they could take him to look at the pool while you go to the room to set up his gift? Have fun!

my boys are really into pin trading. We bought most of ours on ebay before we left, $2.00 a pin is a good price on ebay.
Not sure if you are looking for more souvienier type things, but DS6 made a build your own light saber, he thought that was just awesome.

As far as I know, I don't believe the hotels can put items in your room ahead of time, as your room isn't generally assigned/guaranteed until you check in. That was always my understanding -I might be wrong though.

My 6 & 7 year old boys like the battery powered fan on a string. We got it from the disney store. Also an autograph book, a pirate telescope, mickey sunglasses, and other things from the disney store. Pirate things are always a big hit with my kids. I always get my kids a cool disney hat. Another thing is they like to carry their own camera. I used to get them disposable, but now they have their own digital cameras.

I forgot about the pins. My boys love their pins, and pin lanyards.

We like to leave Tinkerbell gifts too....usually Disney themed items that come in handy like:

sunglasses, bathing suit, swim goggles, hat, jibbitz, tattoos, light up whirly toys, markers, Disney coloring/work books, etc.

Also, we love the Lego Store in Downtown Disney..it is fun to check out the great sets and also stuff a cup full of bricks for your own special design. The building stations there are great for a bit of Lego therapy as well.
