Help My Cousin Out!

Hello DIS! Recently I had a cousin approach me and ask me to post a question on here for him. He knows I use the site and he's too lazy to make an account himself, so he asked me to post this for him.

Anyway, he's planning to propose to his girlfriend the next time he goes. He's gone at least 40 or so times now, but she's never gone, although he knows she'll love it because she LOVES Disney! But he wants to know which resort to stay at. Here are the options:

Animal Kingdom Lodge (Savannah View)
Wilderness Lodge

His girlfriend works for a local zoo, and they both love camping, so both resorts seem like a good fit. Any help?

Animal Kingdom Lodge, savannah view. He could propose on their balcony, or out on the big viewing rock, or at Jiko.

AKL and I agree, propose out on Arusha Rock. That would be amazing!! If its crowded, which its never really when I've been there, there is a viewing overlook in the back behind the pool he could take her too and be alone.

You came to the best place for advice. I just asked this same question back in the beginning of August, and proposed to my gf at the Rose Garden by Cinderella's Castle. For years I've gone [there] and never knew that little nook was there! Thanks to a bunch of people [here] they gave me some great ideas, and I went with the Rose Garden in the end. Make sure he gets a PhotoPass before he does it, and when he's giving it to the photographer (if one is nearby and he wants them to capture the moment) whisper his intentions to them so they can be ready. The photographer will more than likely take the camera off the tripod if it's already on one, and get some good shots. Tell him good luck, and all the best!

I've stayed WL not AKL...WL is beautiful but when you may mentioned zoo, WL is not what I would think to match...so I vote AKL but....

Going off of what I've read on here, again never having stayed at AKL, I believe if you book club level you get access to a special safari tour. I think I've read that it is a sunrise tour in AK? He could book CL, let IPO know of his plan, see if they would help him by arranging the tour when it would be just the two of them, and propose during the tour....

There is also the aquarium in Epcot..I believe scuba divers use to be able to hold signs while diving but I'm not sure if that is still allowed...some one please correct me on that one...

We just met a couple last week who got engaged...he proposed on Space Mountain when they take the picture... we thought that was very cool! If she is a thrill ride person, there are quite a few rides that take pictures, including Expedition Everest in AK..

The Tree of Life is also a beautiful spot...the best area is to skip the photo pass on the bridge and go right down in front... he could probably do something creative there as well!

I would vote AKL. It sounds like a better fit since they will have amazing views.
