when we arrived in the room and were VERY happy!

Then we walked out onto the balcony, sat down and enjoyed the view of the pool for a while until we discovered this view in the distance!

No need to head to a park when you can watch the fireworks from your chair on the balcony!

Checked email today and the concierge for our Contemporary stay must have been up bright and early as he already made reservations for our summer trip - California Grill, Grand Floridian tearoom and The Wave! All at the times I wanted - now all I need to do is make the rest for our OKW stay!

Don't you just love having your next vacation details fall into place WHILE on vacation.

I don't usually include photos in a quote, but OH.MY.GOODNESS!! WTG!!!! I want the same room next time!!! When you get home, please do email or pm the room number? So HAPPY my recommendation worked out so well!

I was away when you left and for most of your trip, but am thrilled with your Poly room and view and no doubt the Cruise was nothing less than Magical!

Cannot wait to hear all about everything and see LOTS more photos!!

We are back ........ , back to real life and work but we had an absolutely awesome time on the DREAM and at WDW!

Before I do individual replies I just wanted to give you a little teaser of our vacation!

Day 1 - travel day

We never made it to the MK that night, we were far too tired - the stress of the week before caught up with us and so did the 6 hour time change.
In Austria it was already 6am when we finally got into bed and we had been up for 26 hours straight.

Day 2 - back to the DREAM

We didn't make it to the Vista Cafe meet that day, but we met our tablemates later that evening and were so happy we had chosen to share a table as we all had a lot of fun.

Day 3 - Nassau

We had a day of food and shopping and food and food and food and yes, you guessed it, even more food.
I nearly had a mishap at Remy and we giggled through the event!

Day 4 - Castaway Cay

We were in heaven - it was a picture perfect day and we were even able to swim!

Day 5 - Day at sea

Day 6 - our first DVC stay and meeting friends

We had an awesome day, even though we had to leave our DREAM, we met Tina and her family and shared some ice-cream, LOVED our BLT room that had a view of ALL of the theme parks and we even could watch Illuminations from our balcony and finished the evening with a fireworks extravaganza from the top of BLT! It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Day 7 - our only full day at WDW

We played at the MK for half a day, even tried to play the new Sorcerers of the MK before we left when the crowds picked up, then spent some time at DTD shopping and finally packing. For dinner we met our favourite CM, Ron at the California Grill for another outstanding meal and there was NO way to not have some of our favourite doughnuts!

Day 8 - time to go home again

By mid afternoon it was time to head to the airport and check in for our flight home. We were very tired and took some sleeping aid to be sure to be able to sleep and we did ........ I only woke up about an hour before we were supposed to land!

Day 9 - almost home

We had a layover in Frankfurt and since we had slept through dinner and breakfast we grabbed some nice food while waiting .....

We got home right on time, picked up Pixie from here "home away from home" and headed home. It had been a fun time and was over far too fast ..... but now to relive it in a trip report.

Oh, Karin, what a tease!! The photos are fabulous and you even sound excited, so it must have been an especially magical trip! (as usual, I've borrowed one or two for my destop. )

The trees in some of your pictures appear to be swaying quite a bit on CC - would that mean you had some rough seas? Hope that didn't mean the ship being sort of tossed around (you know me and ships...seeing those trees, this old imagination sees the ship rocking and rolling!! )

Hope reimmersion back to the real world has not been too stressful. Are you and Tom both feeling completely well now? A little dust just to be sure!
