We had an absolutely wonderful trip and I cannot wait to tell you all, all about it!

That would have been fun. If I can get free dining in Sept. I will be going again at the same time. I did get a pin for 30% off a room in Oct., but I don't know if that is as good a deal.

Here's hoping for FD in September - we would love to see you again!

Oh, your trip is getting close. I love it when it boils down to "just one more sleep." Have a fantastic trip, blue skies, warm temperatures, a cool car, great food, much fun and lots of new memories. And the strength to come home and write it up in a trip report for us real fast.

And once our trip started it just flew by! But we so enjoyed it, we met so many wonderful new friends and a lot of "old" ones as well - it was truly magical!

I can really understand that your new job takes up most of your time - it took me three days to finally find enough time to start my new trip report and post replies and finally do updates. But it's good to hear that you like your new job (read that on FB!)

And btw - the California Grill will close in January for about 6 months, than open again. Ron wasn't sure if they would call it differently, but the restaurant will stay!

We had a wonderful vacation, Chris. Unfortunately it was over FAR too soon!
I think I need to start planning another one!

We could not believe the view we had at the Poly! Especially since we only arrived at the hotel at around 9pm on President's Day Weekend! And to have that view from a Garden view room was outstanding!

Our DREAM was waiting for us the next day and that made it much easier to leave that view behind.

Jen, we were stunned by the view!
For a garden view room that was pretty amazing! We were far too tired to still head over to the park (which was open until 1am) so this was a perfect way to end our evening.

We had a blast. Needless to say that the DREAM lived up to her name.
And we loved BLT - we had an amazing view. The studio is a bit on the small side, but for the two nights we stayed it was more than suitable. And you cannot beat the location, walking to the MK is just awesome.

I thought I'd give you a little insight on what's to come pretty soon! We met so many wonderful new friends on this cruise and a lot of "old" ones! It was awesome and it must have been pixie dust that helped to find all those people!

Oh, Karin, what a tease!! The photos are fabulous and you even sound excited, so it must have been an especially magical trip! (as usual, I've borrowed one or two for my destop. )

The trees in some of your pictures appear to be swaying quite a bit on CC - would that mean you had some rough seas? Hope that didn't mean the ship being sort of tossed around (you know me and ships...seeing those trees, this old imagination sees the ship rocking and rolling!! )

Hope reimmersion back to the real world has not been too stressful. Are you and Tom both feeling completely well now? A little dust just to be sure!

Christine, we had an amazing trip! Everything worked out SO well, it was wonderful.

Well, even if the trees appear to be swaying the ship did not rock much. It's always a bit choppy when they cross the Florida straits. But it is very mild and we did not notice it at all. Funnily enough I can feel the ship swaying a little when we are moored in the harbour, but don't feel it at all while we are moving.
Back to the real world was hard as it was cold and grey and didn't feel very nice. We both got home relaxed and well, unfortunately Tom has caught some virus or something and is now coughing and hoarse. We hope that he recovers over the weekend.

And we LOVED our first DVC stay! You cannot beat the location of BLT and being able to go up to the Members lounge was just awesome!

I love the teasers. I can't wait to read about it. The weather looks good.

The weather was awesome - it was warm enough to swim at CC and we had to use quite a bit of sunscreen. Anything over freezing would have been nice, but we hit a record high one day!

You are going to love the DREAM - what kind of stateroom do you have? On your way out to see watch out for the policeman who VERY often is at Jetty park and greets the ships - Captain Gus loves to use his Mickey horns and I am sure he will greet back!

Updates and changes!

Now that we have returned from our February vacation it is time to fill you all in on the changes and updates that have been made to our summer vacation until now.

The first one concerns our future cruises ……

Guess I need to explain.
For our February cruise we had to book a Deluxe Family Stateroom with Veranda in order to secure the deck and location we wanted. We ended up in Stateroom 10626, which we were very happy with as it seemed to be Stitch’s Stateroom. Our door was decorated accordingly and we loved the attention the door/room got!

Once we had discovered the round tub and rainforest shower in the bathroom we were absolutely sold on that category! It offers a bit more room too.

So we went and changed all our existing reservations to that same category and now we are set with …….

Cruise no 8
August 24 – 29, 2012, double dip, Stateroom 10626
We actually had to hold our breath as the hike in price was HUGE, but we loved the room.

Cruise no 9
August 29 – September 2, 2012, 4 night, Stateroom 10626

Cruise no 10
New booking:
February 17 – 21, 2013, 4 night, Stateroom 10626
We will be cruising with our new friends Dania, Jimmy and Alex again!

And finally our first cruise as Platinum Castaway Members!
