Help in comparing these 3 weeks...

We are planning a Christmas trip and I would love to hear opinions on these three weeks:

November 25 through December 03 (I am wondering if the Thanksgiving crowd will be gone and if the decorations will all be up and if MVMCP will be starting)

December 02 through December 10 (Mainly worried about pop warner. We will probably stay at GF or Poly, but not sure about park crowds)

December 9 through December 17.

Please give me any advice you have. Thanks!!!!!!!

I went this year Sat Dec 3rd thru Sat Dec 10---park levels were crowded. Ride lines at MK on Wed Dec 7...45-60 minutes for headliners.
Epcot on Fri Dec 9...90 minutes for Soarin and Test Track.
Not too bad at MGM or AK on Mon Dec 5...wait for Dinosaur, ToT no more than 20 min.

I probably would choose the first week you mentioned Nov 25-Dec 3.

We did the week after Thanksgiving this year (Sunday through Thursday) and it was amazing. Walked on to almost every ride - only needed a fastpass for Test Track and Soarin'. Decorations were up and beautiful, MVMCP was going on almost every other night at MK. I've never seen the parks that blessedly empty - I would definitely recommend this week. You could really tell a difference between Sunday morning (when I assume a lot of people were taking advantage of their last bit of time in the parks) and Sunday afternoon/evening (when the MK was literally cleaning out).

We are doing 12/10-12/17 this year. We wanted 11/25 to 12/3 but have a family conflict with those dates. I agree with you about not going during Pop Warner week (especially we are staying at POR where some have stayed in the past). I am more concerned about the weather than anything. Being from Chicago , I hope it is warm enough to wear shorts!

We love the week after Thanksgiving! We make our first park day Sunday and everything is wonderful until Friday. Friday and Saturday the crowds pick up and after walking on all week you just find it terrible to think about waiting for 40 mins on a ride. The low crowds really spoil you quickly.

I agree. The 10th at MK was the only exception. Crowded that day but the rest of the week was near perfect (weather included).

That said, I will probably try the week after Thanksgiving simply because my AP expires on the 9th!!
