I've lost my Disforums note of suggestions to make prep more comfortable!
My test is Monday coming!
My preparations are:. Pico-Salax two sachets in 6-8 glasses of water, the day
Before and Dulcolax 5mg-2 tablets
The information I was looking for had something along the lines of Gingerale, Chicken broth, Popcicles etc.? Instead of water, and for hunger pangs.
DH had a colonoscopy last week. His prep was liquid food and drink. He ate jello (no red color permitted) clear broth (beef and chicken). Sodas ok, water lots of water. No dairy--we had bought banana popsicles, but realized later they were banana fudge with milk as an ingredient. Instead of the plain popsicles.
I think you could google and get a better list than what I could remember off the top of my head.
Your doctor's office should have spelled out for you what the diet requires. Mine was nothing but clear liquids, clear hard candy or jello, for a certain period before. All had to be non-red, as red dye can interfere.
Since I couldn't find much in the way of non-red hard candy and I loathe jello, that basically meant bite the bullet, starve and get it over with.

When I asked all I got was a shoulder shrug.
I may have pressed a tad harder for an answer instead of just being satisfied with the shoulder shrug.

Baby wipes. Lots of them.
