Is there anyway to get a cheaper price package after you book?

I booked our Oct 2014 holiday a few months ago and I was just showing a friend how easy it is and my same exact trip is now £300 cheaper - you only get $100 gift card and a few of the little extra stuff which we wouldn't use anyway isn't on there - but still a savings of £250ish. Does anyone know if I can somehow get this new rate without losing my deposit?

Never had to change booking through Disney but other companies don't let you so I wouldn't have thought so. It's like everything... if you bought something from a shop one day then realised it was half price the day after, you wouldn't expect them to refund you half of what you paid would you?? It's the same concept... all travel reps ALWAYS warn you when you speak to them for a quote that the price they quote you is only applicable for that day as holiday prices vary day by day. It's just a chance you take. It does suck when you've booked then you see it for a cheaper price but it's also a GREAT feeling when you book then see it a week later advertised for a higher price as we feel we've bagged a bargain. Sorry!!

This happend to us a few years ago, the holiday became £450 cheaper.I called Disney and she cancelled the original booking and rebooked it at the new rate.It cost £50 to amend.Just make sure you get all the same befits ddp etc

WOW! Hats off to Disney then! We had same prob with First Choice in 2008 and they refused point blank. I know a few of my friends have had similar probs with other travel agents so looks like Disney are leading the way on that score!! Am SO happy to hear this!! :)

Hummm might just give them a ring and see what they say - even if it costs £50 I'm still saving about £200ish

It's worth a shot. This happened to me in 2009 and I nearly canceled and rebooked but it was flight inclusive so would have cost me £200 to cancel and rebook and I decided to just cut my losses and save the hassle. But if you can pull this one off for a £50 amendment fee, go for it. They were certainly willing to do it when I asked
