My DH and I were just at HH the first week in June. We stayed in building 30, which is at the far end of the complex from check in. We had a studio room that was just great. The porch is wonderful to sit out on at night and watch the weather, BUT if it is raining, you will get soaked! At that end of the resort, we were close to the pool and the mercantile which is a small store. Be sure and visit the beach at that end of the resort in the evening at low tide. The fiddler crabs were amazing! When you walk on the beach, it looks like the sand is moving there are so many finger size crabs running to get out of your way.
Of course there is the beach house, not just any beach house, but also has a great pool.
Go to Harbour Town and visit the light house and surrounding shops.
Drive into Savannah and take a tour, or two!
There is a outlet store close by also.
Don't eat breakfast at the close by IHOP. Bad news.
We were fortunate that a Dan Folgerberg concert was at the Harbour Place courts while we were there. It was outdoors and wonderful.
Charleston is only a hour and a half away. We didn't make it but it looks very interesting.
If you like German food, try the restraunt on the island that has been there for 30 years.
Have a great time!
