I have not been posting in a while but have been lurking. I have had
a pretty busy month in general that is why no posts. Most of it has
been stressful,a couple of health scares with our son,he had injured
his elbow and there was intial talk that he may need surgery
ect..they believed he some sort of defect, turns out he is okay after
seeing the ortho specialist but he will need still need to see the
genetics specialist as he is hypermobile(in the joints).I also had a
couple issues-won't bore you with the details but I think I will be
fine.Had company twice (my mom) which is soo nice, I am a total
momma's girl so I love having time with her! Also started a part time
job (in addition to my full time one), it will only be a few hours
per week, I am working at Penningtons,I just started last week, not
sure when my next shift will be,they still have to finish training
me! I wish I didn't have to work extra but it is going to take a
whole lot of effort for us to pay for our wedding next year.At least
Dale can work OT when he likes-no need to find another pt job. My day
job had me reeling for a while as well, I had my first appeal in
which I had represent the dept, so it was stressful-just not knowing
what to expect-but I got thru it. I decided to start getting some
exercise- So I went to 2 aquasize classes, I loved
them, had fun, but just my luck that the pool has been shut down for
repairs-sheesh!!! So they will be starting up first week of July, so
I look forward to getting into and hopefully slimming down and toning
up! As far as scrapbooking I have done absolutely zip-I have done no
pages, only 2 ebay auctions and have made nothing new for the LSS, I
am afraid that I have let to much time pass and she won't want me to
sell my stuff there anymore! Ohhh well, I just did not have it in me
the past month to do anything. But I have been thinking about it
lately so well see, I was at Walmart today, they have so much more
scrap stuff! they have 12 x 12 paper pack,mulberry paper,very nice
die cuts, shadow boxes, tags, chalked die cuts and on an on! I was very
surprised! Anyhooooo this is turning into a novel, I hope that
everyone is enjoying the weekend and doing well.
Talk to you soon,

Thanks for the update. We do miss you when you don't post. You are such a wealth of knowledge and always so helpful.
Glad your son will be ok.
I'm off to Hershey Park tomorrow. It's no DW, but still fun!

Glad to hear your son is going to be okay and that you are also alright.

I've been thinking about getting a part time job myself lately. Our DD will be going off to college in 3 years and I have no idea how we are going to afford it. So, I figure if I get a part time job and sock the $$ away we might be able to swing it. I've worked 2 jobs before and it is so exhausting and you just seem to never have enough time for other things. Good luck with you new job.

Good to hearfrom you. Glad your son is ok. Keep in touch.

Wow you've been busy! Hope to see you around the board more. Thanks for letting us know where you've been. :D

Hi Pammy Jo-hope your enjoying the day at Hershey Park, our son went to the water slide park yesterday and had a great time, the weather has been super hot so that is nice!
Crazyforpooh-I know what you mean about it being tiring! But I just keep telling myself that I can quit if it gets to be to much and I just remind myself that it is for our disney wedding!! So hopefully that will keep me somewhat motiviated to stick it out!
Patty-We are pretty firm now that we will have our wedding at the Cresent Terrace at the Swan resort.Dinner afterwards will be at Palio, not sure what we will do then, can go with an illuminations cruise or to PI. Yesterday I bought a tiara type headband-very pretty and sparkly! And also got to help my BIL prepare bouts for my other BIL's wedding-that was fun.

Glad everything is OK with your son and yourself.

And yes Weddings are expensive. I know as I got married just over 7 monthes ago. As for second jobs, I have been thinking of getting one as the company I worked for hit EVERYONE with a paycut (20%). it has been one monthly paycheck at lower rate so far and next one will be, but possibly one after next will be only 10% cut.

AND I also wanted to be a pain since you titled the thread "Hello there GALS" (emphasis added by ME) :teeth:

Opppps--sorry about that!!! LOL-To all the gals and guys!!!
Sorry to hear about your work situation, that so totally sucks when something like that happens and it out of your hands. Hope it all works out for you!
