Just got back from shopping in Cozumel. Didn't buy much. I can't take the heat, I'm not a beach person, so I thought I would return to the ship and have a nice cold drink with rum or something ;) My friend KarenNY is still out there walking her little legs off (and they are little, she's even shorter than glo  )

I can't believe how beautiful and clear the seas are here. I've never seen anything like it.

Having a ball but I miss my friends. I hope everyone is taking this opportunity to pass me up and become the #1 poster here on the DIS.

There are 125 DISers on this cruise, I've only managed to meet about 12 so far :( I keep looking though :teeth:

I must have missed your first hello, Kath! But HELLO just the same!

Please say Hi to Karen for me to! :)

And all those other DISers you'll run in to! :)

have FUN! :)

Hi Katholyn!
So glad to hear you're enjoying yourself! I hope you bump into the other 113 Disers!:D

You didnt stop at Carlos n Charlies?
That place was wild (girls falling out of their tops) when MIL & I stopped there in the middle of afternoon when we cruised on NCL in Dec. I cant believe I had my MIL there!

Katholyn, I am so sorry we were unable to hook up on 9/13. Stephen and I had dinner at Rainforest cafe and then a concert and I just kept forgetting to stop and call you. I hope you continue to have a great time on your cruise.

Have you checked in on the cruise board lately? There is a big concern about a new DCL rule that NO non potty trained children may go into the kiddie pools any longer -- even with swim diapers -- NONE PERIOD! To help with the concerns of DIS cruisers that have trips planned in the next month or two -- would you be willing to check out a few things.

1]are they enforcing this new policy by requesting non potty trained children to leave the mickey pool?

2]May parents accompany their 'under 3' year old children to the kids clubs for some afternoon fun -- since the mickey pool is no longer an option for them?

3]Are there plans in the very near future to add activities for children 'under 3' to replace the time they would have spent in the Mickey Pool?

I only have teens -- but I really feel for these parents that have to choose to be with their 4 or 5 year old in the Mickey pool or spending time with their toddler that is not permitted in the pool. It is a safety issue -- and I understand DCL's position also.

Here are the two thread on the DIS Cruise Board that pertains to these concerns -

Hey Katholyn, is Robin from Australia still doing the Bingo? My sister and I loved him.. she even had a little crush on him, I think.. he put his arm around her and she wiped the spot with a tissue and put in in a ziploc bag so she'd always have Robin's "germs".. teehee :p

Hey there Kath! So glad to hear you are having a great time :sunny:
