Heading to MK on half marathon Saturday?

Planning on driving from AS Sports to MK tomorrow morning, which is half marathon day.
How early do we need to leave to get there at opening? Or would we be smarter to take Disney transportation?

I've never stayed at (or traveled from) the All Star resorts to MK, but I can tell you from experience that the races cause road closures and detours. If it were me, I'd use Disney transportation going to MK on a race morning.
