Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

I wanted to check in and see how Josie is doing? I have been praying for her. I know how frightened you are, I was terrified. As long as she is taking her meds and her breathing treatments she should start feeling better soon. Dallas was feeling better within a couple of days, right about the time I started feeling bad. I am keeping her, and you, in my prayers. I pray that no one else gets it. Keep us updated..

Hi Connie! Josie seems to be doing better. We had a lot of fun putting up the tree. Josie was really into it this year. So far the rest of us are fine...hope it stays that way. :goodvibes

I am glad that she is better today. Hopefully the meds will help Joe as well. Glad the dinner was fun. All those yummy deserts! You are very thoughtful for not going shopping in case you have it. I know you love black friday.
Josie and Joe seem fine today. Josie has a cough still but no fever so I'm pretty happy about that. It was hard not to go shopping yesterday. I do love shopping especially bargain shopping. :goodvibes

Thanks for the prayers Dana! They are really working. She seems fine today (other than the cough). Joe seems fine as well. We are taking our meds around the clock and she is being a big girl and taking them without fussing so we are doing quite well there. So far I'm feeling okay. I'm taking the Tamiflu too just as a precaution. I don't want to disapppoint 10 little girls next week. (The Christmas parade is next weekend). Thanks for the prayers Dana!!!!

Thanks Rosie! She is starting to feel better already. I hope your grandkids are feeling better soon also. Sounds like you had a nice meal also. :goodvibes

Thanks Megan! So far so good. She is feeling better and the other three of us seem okay as well. Joe had one day that he felt kind of rough but we're both taking Tamiflu and we are fine.

Glad to hear she is feeling better. Hopefully this means you will have all the sickness over before Christmas! :)

It is so good to hear that Josie is doing good. I kept a log of Dallas' meds, temps, breathing treatments, etc. I didn't want any of us to get messed up with the times and what was due when. It seemed like he was either taking a breathing treatment, motrin, Tylenol or Tamiflu every other hour.

I'm glad to hear that no one else is showing symptoms. Hopefully, no one else will.

I am glad she is feeling better. And that none of you have it. Jeff says he is feeling achy tonight and Cayley is still coughing. If it does not clear up I may take her in. I have asthma so I don't want to mess around.
We put up our tree tonight. Love the smell. Have to go back to Target and swap out some lights-we got some that did not work. The Tink tree topper is very cute!!

Thanks Kayce! I'm hoping its all over by Christmas too. Josie is feeling much better. She's back to fussing with her sister now so all is well. :rotfl:

Today should be the last day for Tamiflu and Orapred for Josie as we will run out tonight. She is doing great though. Being stuck in the house is killing my crew. We get cabin fever bad in the winter anyway, but this has been awful. Tamiflu is a miracle drug for sure. Joe felt kind of rough on Thursday but since taking the Tamiflu he's felt fine. It may have been his mind playing tricks but secretly I think it's the Tamiflu. :lmao:

If she is still coughing today, you might want to take her in just to be sure. The doctor told me that the first 48 hours are the most critical if the Tamiflu is going to work. Unfortunately H1N1 can manifest itself with different symptoms for each person. Some have aches, some have vomiting. Josie had neither of those-just stuffiness and a cough. Hopefully, this morning Cayley and Jeff are feeling better! You definitely don't need this if you have asthma girl. We will pray that Cayley and Jeff are feeling better. :goodvibes

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had wonderful Thanksgivings with lots of good food and family. :goodvibes Since Josie has been sick things became far less rushed. We were able to get our tree up, most of the outside decor up and Joe has built our parade float. I just have to decorate it and finish the girls' cosumes. :thumbsup2 I've also had more time to work on my homework. So all in all it's worked out just fine. I've found some cool stuff on family.com and wanted to share with my readers with little ones. Here is a link to some really cool Disney Christmas printables and crafts! My kids love this kind of stuff and I hope you find something fun for your kids to do also. It works wonders on cold winter days indoors. Hope you enjoy! :goodvibes

Thanks Connie! I guess the illness did allow us to slow down a little and get some things done. :goodvibes

I love craft time!!! Can I come over and do some crafts too? ;)

You are always :welcome: come on over anytime!!! :upsidedow
the more the merrier and I bet Josie and Chloe would get along wonderfully (Ashton loves to make new friends--he is just rough; like a little boy)
