Morning ladies!

Oh, I am a total spa junkie! I lOVE the spa! Any chance I can go I literally run there! DH usually gets me gift cards for mother's day, valentine's day, etc... I only go to Bliss 57 here in the city. It's my favorite. I love the free buffet!! Seriously, they have the best spa munchies and make the best fresh squeezed lemonade! Delish! I also love their products. I try to sneak in a spa visit on vacations, but with the two kids now it's not so easy to get away. This trip the boys are a little older so DH could manage a few hours by the sprinkler with them while I'm at the spa. I'm so excited I've never been to the GF Spa, just SSR. It was nice and I have to say by the spa menu, SSR has better offerings I can't figure out why if it's the same management? I've booked their signature treatment the "Aromatherapy Wrap and Massage". I'm so looking forward to this!

I've been there before!!! I had a facial and mani/pedi! One of my best friends is like you. I know exactly what to give her every year. She really likes the Hilton by Short Hills if you want something new to try!

My DH uses the spa at the GF, there is a short cut behind the Cabanas to get there!! Ask Kraus (the man at the register by the pool, by buddy) to show you!!

Mandy: Love your trip report on your blog! You don't want to be a tourist! Be a traveler! Can't wait for the next update! Would love to hear your tips for doing MK alone (if you've ever done it) with the kids. DH will be going to on a Segway tour while I'm at early morning at MK with the boys. I'm a little nervous, but not too much that it will keep me from doing it I plan to just cover Fantasy Land.

Anyone know any tricks or tips on how to obtain an ADR from a soldout restaurant?

I made all my ADRs right at 180 days, but DS4 saw that special on the Fine Living channel "What to get for your money in Disney" and the family with little kids went to Tusker House for breakfast with Donald - well that's the one meal I didn't book!

I've been calling every day and there have been no cancelations. I seriously doubt many people are courteous enough to cancel. There's no obligation, no credit card deposit. I'll admit I do it too. If our plans change the day of, we just blow off the ADR. But now I will start canceling them! Promise! I was reading the DIS tips for getting a hard to get ADR and Kevin Klose suggests calling when it's within 45 days since that's when final deposit is due. If people don't pay their trips in full, they get automatically canceled. I don't understand how this effects the ADRs when they're under your phone number not your reservation number

So I took his suggestion and called back asking for a reservation for 6 (I really hate to lie!) Nothing! Not even for 2 people! He said if you're 4 people and have a ADR for 6 they will not turn you away. I've never thought of doing this before.

I know the closer to the vacation it might open up, but I feel like this is hopeless. I'm so mad that I didn't think of this ADR back at 180 days!!

I did post my request on the Cancel/exchange ADR thread. But everyone posting is looking for April or Sept!!! My June ADR will totally get lost in there!

Oh well off to call again!

Did you get the Triple Oxygen Facial at Bliss? That is heavenly!

My DH likes the spa too. We used to go together before kids. He has a touch of Metrosexual in him He has more products in his bathroom then I have in mine! He LOVES to self tan year round! He goes himself to Bloomingdales and buys Clarins Self Tanner, it's his favorite. I just bought him the Commodynes wipes tanning towels from QVC, he likes them too. I'm so not into self tanning. He just told me the other day he wants to get a spray tan before our vacation! I swear the man is always tan like George Hamilton! Even though he resembles Joey Fatone!!

Oh I'm on there DAILY! I repeat my request every few days! That thread is a mess! I just asked if a moderator could divide the thread up by month. I'm looking for a June ADR and I'm surrounded by April and Sept!

I will PM you about my ideas fro doing the MK alone!

Keep trying for the Tusker house. It was our favorite character breakfast The food was soooo good! Dress them in safari outfits or brown and khaki colors so you look all themed for the day and your pictures will look so good!

Channing, you never gave us a shoe report from your trip! How did those "Simple" brand shoes hold up? They're in my Bloomingdale's circular this week. They have them without the strap. I'll have to go stop by and check them out.

We're leaving for the Poconos right after DS4 gets out of his afterschool soccer class.

We're back!!! We had so much fun!!! (and we didn't spend too much money!! ) I learned a lot - apparantly I was using the wrong brush to put on the foundation- OOPS!!! Also, she gave me primer from a different collection since I have sensitive skin (not the Prime Time)

I have to clean my house and will try to pop on later if I can (I have a grown up party to go to tonight with DH )

My SIL killed me, I am now a size smaller!!

I went to Costco and now I have to take DD for a second haircut in 3 weeks. She found a new style that she would like to try!!

Channing, I think your weather is coming in quick. It misty, foggy and cold!!! Rain is due around 6!!!

Yup!!! I was using Flawless face for it and the buki for blush. I guess the flawless face is jus for mineral veil. I bought a blush brush and will use the buki as it was intended going forward!!

The lady doing it was PSYCHO!!! She was rambling on from this to that, about how much she hated the store, how come no one was helping her. WHATVER!!! Just do my make up But it was informative!

I had FUN! It was neat meeting Kristin! She's not just my "imaginary friend" anymore. ANd the thing wasn't bad....I got to wear my clothes haha, but Kristin got to feel me. You forgot to mention that little issue, Kristin.

Lucy got a total kick out of us meeting to get our makeup done. She thinks we are so cool (sarcastic)....you have to say COOL like a valley girl.

OMG....I was totally using the wrong brush, too....The lady left me hanging - she just did half my face, haha....Kristin, I forgot! I hope it didn't look like I was a burn patient or something with the skin graft. I think I really like the way she told us to apply it. It goes so much faster. I was using the Flawless Face brush and sweeping it on kind of....she used the buki and smushed it on...like waxing a car. Mandy, I also told her Prime Time makes me itch and she said I need to use toner - I know you mentioned you have that problems sometimes.....it's due to a dead skin layer.....so that's part of my new "skin care" routine. I also tried my new eyeliner brush and the dark gray and it's easy and it looks good! I did pretty good on the products...I am happy with everything I wound up buying. I KNEW she'd try and sell me some "skin care" type stuff and I got off cheap. I got a nice little package deal of trial size stuff. SHe used a new blush color ("hint") and I really like it so bought it, bought the brushes I wanted and then she told me to try my darker base so I have it and I like it.

LOL....the makeup lady had on Mickey earrings! How about that?!?! She is a Disney fan, too. OK, maybe she is a psycho Disney fan, though....I thought Kristin KNEW her from before the way the lady was going on and all.

I got home and changed right away and got into the shower in my grubby clothes with my dog again. I tried the doggy shampoo and it seems to have helped a touch but I won't know until she's dry....which with her coat could be Monday or Tuesday. I also ran and bought some other stuff from the boutique doggy store. If she still stinks, she's going in my whirlpool tub with this stuff Tuesday. That'll learn her. My bathroom is nasty now.

OH!!! Hot news!!! I just bought myself an 80 GB Video Ipod this morning at about 7 am!! I am SO EXCITED!!! I upgraded. I love my Ipod!!!!

Annette, glad it went well ....I need to do that sometime soon, but my gyno retired and I need a referral....so I will have to visit my primary care dr. for the first time....ick.

Kristin have fun with your party tonight. PS....I just got an Ulta postcard in the mail for a 20% discount off my ENTIRE store purchase!!!! It starts next week....there's always more to buy.

I forgot about reporting that I "felt" you!!! That was hilarious!!! The woman was crazy... she kept going on and on like she knew me, but you know me, I can talk to a fencepost and have a good conversation!!! (Hey Tag Fairy, there's another good one for you ) Don't worry, you couldn't tell that she only did half your face!! She probably thought we were the biggest wierdos when she realize we met on the internet!! (oh well, that would have been the pot calling the kettle black!!!)

I need to hop in the shower and "start over" before the party.

Good morning! I just got back from the GF last night. I want to go back!!!! It will take me a few days to get through things to get the almost 1000 photos in order before I can post. Also, Samatha Brown was in RPC yesterday morning.

It was an awesome trip Thanks for all the GF info.... it really helped

Hilarious! I guess you are real friends after feeling each other That is nice that you got to meet! You would never know that by the way ya'll chat on the boards. I think it would be fun if I bumped into someone I met on the boards while at the GF!

I so want a ipod! Last Christmas I was not suppose to get anything b/c I already got my B-day, Christmas, anniversary gift, 1ct princess cut earrings. DH knew I wanted a mp3 player so he got me philips brand one. I just didn't want to settle so we returned it. I am waiting to get a itouch or even an iphone!

Thats what my mom does....Microdermabrasion at a locate salon. Sorry, you don't live closer, I go with all my friends and DD and DS, everyone has their face done. It really makes a huge difference.

So, hows your sisters date plans? Do we know where their going yet?

He was LATE! They are going to a restaurant in O-town that is in the Ritz Carlton! She was doing ok when we talked just worried about them being late since traffic is crazy on I4 and it being the evening commute rush. She bought a new top to wear and even put on lip stick, how cute

She is going to text me if she gets a chance and then call me tonight!
