Mare, I have the primer. It makes your skin feel like silk. I don't honestly notice ANY difference though with it or without as far as the makeup application. I kind of get itchy with it underneath actually. I like as few layers and junk on my face as possible....I am dreading if they tell me (sell me ) all kinds of skin care stuff and other lotions etc....I am super basic and I do not ever break out. As low maintenance as possible works for me. This thing tomorrow will be my first makeup encounter. I hope they aren't pushy to sell me more....I have spent aobut $350 on this stuff already and I have too much at this point.....I need a few more brushes though. Or I am worried after I spent all the moolah they will tell me I bought the wrong stuff.

I haven't heard of Laura Geller, but that's not saying much.

Mandy!!! That is just fabulous!!! So good for you!!! I was supposed to weigh myself Wed...put that off til Thursday and got my ***** so that didn't happen today because I feel yucky and bloaty and FAT.... I have not been so good today. I need to get a grip on this thing. I am proud of you & envious, too....Keep up the good work. I could use the inspiration for myself....keep it going!!! . PS...I am sorry I said Hummers are ugly...I didn't mean to sound snotty & I think I did - I was just being mouthy. Jojo wants one and I'd be happy for her to have one.

Ya, when you've got kids and car seats and strollers you need a big vehicle. I am past that, but I loved my Sequoia for 3 kids. I really needed the space. It was hard to park though!!! Does anybody else think they need to make hybrids cuter and maybe more sporty? That is my issue with them. The Prius is OK (and I love Toyotas), and to have it for free from work it awesome , but I don't think the hybrids are as attractive as other cars out there. DH is probably going to get one sometime soon though. He has a 2 to 3 hr rt commute...sometimes longer if he has to drive to Chicago.

Kristin, that was my DH's original thought on the Wrangler....give it to DS to drive when he wasn't driving it, but he bought it in stick shift and DS doesn't know how to drive stick yet!!!!! But soon though it will be DS's and I will lose my fun summer car. I'd be happy to I guess because that will mean DS has a JOB!!!!

I have mega crabby crying kids today.....ugh. Girl drama.

When my Sis called me and told me she was on her way home in her new Hummer I was so rude and ruined her moment by saying "Oh my God! You really bought one of those ugly tanks? Please don't tell me it's bright yellow!" No worries, I have really tough skin, my mother is brutally honest and cold! She handed me a some of the pancake make up at 13 and told me to "Spackle some on, so you don't look like a pizza" We tell her all teh time that we are going to sing "Ding dong, the witch is dead" at her funeral

OK!!! I am looking forward to it, but nervous!!!! I will try and be there right about 10. Jojo's bus almost always comes about 8:30 and then I will jump in the shower and get ready and leave asap. I do need to practice the "NO thanks" stuff!! I like the think it over line. I can use that I know there is probably something I can use. I don't have anything to use for eye liner or an eye liner brush. I know I could use another eye shadow brush. I have specifically held off on buying these so I can buy something tomorrow and not look like a cheapskate haha. How FUNNY about your mom....My mom is a witch, too, but heaven forbid she admit it. I wish she would!!!! She gets offended if my sister or I even hint that she's not awesome.

It will be fun meeting Kristin tomorrow!!!!

I like the safety of having all wheel drive on the SUVs. We go to our house in the Poconos year round and the snow and ice in the winter is bad. Nothing keeps me indoors, so driving with the kids in the car, I feel safe in a big SUV.

And bum warmers are the best in the winter!

I just discovered that my steering wheel is heated. Imagine that. I've had my car for more than two winters already and always complained that if German engineers can think of every other technology, why couldn't they think of a way to heat up my steering wheel. Well, I guess they had. And of course, I didn't discover that feature until it's spring and it's nice and warm outside, heh.

Have you heard about those six girls who beat up the cheerleader? Well it happened in our town and it has caused a world wide media circus. You can not even drive through downtown because there are so many news trucks set up on front of the court house My sister is the victim's advocate and they have received calls from tons of media including people from Dr. Phil and Oprah. I know it was a horrible thing but I don't think this would have made it past the local news paper if there was not a video of the beating....

I've had my car for more than two winters already and always complained that if German engineers can think of every other technology, why couldn't they think of a way to heat up my steering wheel. Well, I guess they had. And of course, I didn't discover that feature until it's spring and it's nice and warm outside, heh.

was that the teen girl that was invited over to her friend's house and the girls wanted to make a video of it and it showed them punching her in the head?!?!??! I just saw that yesterday on GMA I think....how DISGUSTING. What is up with that?!?!? I hadn't heard anything until I saw that - I was shocked. That is just so disturbing and sick. I have no idea why or what happened except they said the girls wanted to video it. they didn't say WHY they were doing this to this poor girl.

I have been up since 5:15 am .....believe me that is TORTURE for me. We normally wake at 6...also torture, but my dog was crying at the back door to go out which is very odd. So it woke me up and i let her out and it was dark and foggy and she RAN AWAY!!!! I was up sick with worry & calling for her and she came back about 6:30. SHE STINKS. She must have rolled in something in the woods and it is foul. I need to get her in to a groomer asap.....I don't need this today.


Gotta run and wake up DD & call a groomer!!!! I hope I have fun at Ulta....this is so out of my comfort zone, haha.

That's like when I had a 6 disc CD changer in my mini van. I had all these number buttons that I couldn't figure out how to program radio station to and griped and complained about how stupid the radio was. When the time changed I got out my book to figure out how to change the clock and decided to figure out how to program those buttons and realized we had a CD changer DH said he wondered why I was always changing CDs and figured I didn't know how to work it. MEN!

Anyone ever do Great Wolf Lodge?

Yes -- we just did the new one in Grapevine and my kids loved it. I would have liked it more, if I wasn't paying the outrageous spring break prices. We stayed in a kidcabin room, and it had lots of room. The waterpark was tons of fun, and my kids loved the magicquest game. We saw a number of people there celebrating birthdays.

Kelly- Let me know how you like AKL...especially the concierge part. We are DVC members and since we can now book concierge..I would like to try it. I am just afraid I will feel too far from the action. We stayed at SSR in Feb before our cruise and I did not like that place at all. I felt like was in an apartment complex and no where near WDW.

We loved AKL and concierge. I was prepared for it to be dark, but it didn't bother me. My kids loved spending time out on the balcony watching the animals, and the pool was cool too. Boma was an interesting experience. I loved it, DH not so much. Jiko was a total disappointment for us, but maybe it was an off night for them (service, plus food didn't impress) or for us.

Ladies allthis talk about big SUV's is giving me the "I want a new car" bug!

Me too! My Tahoe just turned over 200,000 miles and needs some work. The commute just kills my cars. I'd love a Volvo SUV (our volvo has gone 250,000 and is still purring) but I need a bigger SUV for my kids/newphews/nieces/teammates/all their equipment/etc.

Yep that's the one. They did it because she posted some bad things about one of them on myspace. They beat her for 30 minuets and she has hearing loss in one ear, damage to one of her eyes, a concussion, a broken nose, two black eyes, tons of bruises all over her from being kicked and she lost consciousness twice. They taped it to post on youtube and humiliate her If you could hear some of the parents of the girls involved you would understand why these girls were so brutal, the mother of the girl who's house this took place at blamed the victim. She said if she couldn't back up what she posted on myspace then thats her problem and she deserved it

I write mostly late at night (early morning) and then the next morning I proof it, it's funny to read what I write when i'm tired! I keep a journal with cute, funny, weird things my kids do. My dream is to write a book one day about having 4 kids in 4 years, even if its not a real published book but something I can give them!

I am so not a spa person either!!! The funny thing is that my DH is, he loves messages!! NOT ME!!! I have walked out of sooooo many!! Hysterically laughing!!!

In NYC with friends once, a masseur told me just relax. I told her, I am naked and ticklish and you want me to relax. I wrap the sheet around me and headed for the door. My girlfriends were rolling!!!

I then had an awesome mani/pedi with parafine wax, chatted away with manicurist and had a glass of wine!!! Now, that I could handle (BTW my clothes were on!!!)

Morning ladies!

Oh, I am a total spa junkie! I lOVE the spa! Any chance I can go I literally run there! DH usually gets me gift cards for mother's day, valentine's day, etc... I only go to Bliss 57 here in the city. It's my favorite. I love the free buffet!! Seriously, they have the best spa munchies and make the best fresh squeezed lemonade! Delish! I also love their products. I try to sneak in a spa visit on vacations, but with the two kids now it's not so easy to get away. This trip the boys are a little older so DH could manage a few hours by the sprinkler with them while I'm at the spa. I'm so excited I've never been to the GF Spa, just SSR. It was nice and I have to say by the spa menu, SSR has better offerings I can't figure out why if it's the same management? I've booked their signature treatment the "Aromatherapy Wrap and Massage". I'm so looking forward to this!

Channing have fun today with Kristen and make sure to say "your just browsing" Don't feel pressured to purchase anything. Just go and have fun playing with makeup

Kelly, I've been to Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. We didn't stay and use the facilities, we just walked in to see what it was all about. It's not far from our house. It looked really nice. I like that they provide life vests for the little ones (mandatory). Make sure to have aqua shoes, everyone was wearing them. The food options weren't many. They don't include any food and I heard many people leave to dine outside the resort. Depands where your resort is located. This one had a Friendly's right next door. We plan on going there next winter when my little one is almost 2. It's a great trip to do in the dead of winter. From the looks of the lodge, you'd never expect a water park inside. The kids would be completely surprised!

Anyone know how's praline? Is here computer down?

Kristen, I spent the entire night making postcards! Thank you for that awesome idea! I download tons of clip art and printed little notes and invites for the boys to the character meals, several attractions, special events, etc.... I have a few cards per day and we're staying 10 days! I was up until 1am printing! But they came out so cute. I tryed to use the character's lingo and I downloaded the Walt Disney World font for their signature. They came out adorable! I can't thank you enough for this cute idea that's going to bring so much excitement to my DS4's vacation!
