Hi, guys....well I just watchd Rock of Love 2.....Glad Amber won.

I thought she was kind of gross with the no underwear thing & the crossing and uncrossing her legs in the restaurant....but that's just me. The Amish prude.
I had a really nice LAZY day. Friday and Saturday were hectic with the kids being schlepped around and having friends over etc. Today was heaven.

Sat around and read all day.
Dawn, I read that book, too & lots of others by her. I am no longer a fan.

Her books are kind of dark and I don't like that I find no characters likeable. I had the worst time getting thru one of hers (it's still sitting on my bedside table and I can't remember the title!) and i am not a quitter so I kept going til the end.....i was so wrong to do that.

I need to be able to relate and empathize with the characters. I don't read her anymore. I LOVE LOVE LOVE historical fiction - that was my addiction way before I found the DIS, haha, and I am trying to get back into it because I have the time and i LOVE IT......right now I am reading a book by Kathleen Harrington (a little trashy but not much

), but I have been glued to it from the moment I woke up. I love those kind of books.

Jean Plaidy is a good one - and she writes under a couple diff names -although I haven't read her in a long time, but she is more along the Philippa Gregory route. I have my favorites.

I LOVE to read.

Hope your son feels better.
Have a great night, all!
PS....Vanessa - I saw your thread re the Disney florist Xmas trees.....we did Xmas in 2006 at the GF. I ordered the tree and it was GORGEOUS. I take it out every year. It was expensive and i choked on paying that cost, but I have no regrets. It is beautiful, smelled so pretty, and we just got so much enjoyment out of having it in our room.....it's a great souvenier now, too. I can post pics if you want. I've had them up before so people are sick of them.

The trees last year looked like Hanukkah trees....they were blue and silver themed for the year of a million dreams. Not my cup of tea in blue and silver. Nothing against Hanukkah, but I like a Christmassy looking Xmas tree.

Wonder what they'll do this year.
