The evidence suggests they weren't stopping them at all, they were more likely trying to slow them down so the other bikes could get ahead of them and have open highway to do tricks. Also if he got off the highway because they slashed his tires why didn't he get off till the second time he came to a stop? Could it be that they didn't slash his tires until after he ran over their friend and left the scene of an accident which is what they claim?
Note to self:
When a large group of motorcyclists surround my SUV, yell things at me from my driver's side window, and cut in front of me and slam on their brakes, assume that their only intention is to slow down my vehicle so they can have an open road to do tricks. Got it.

You are confusing the word, "apparently" with the words "allegedly" or "assumedly." They all begin with "a' and mean quite different things.
