Turkey Hill is regional and my grandmother who lives in FL for years is STILL mad that she can't buy it there!

I grew up about 10 minutes from Lancaster, so Turkey Hill was what we always had! I miss WaWa's, too! Although there are some here, it's a hike to get to them... but for a WaWa hoagie for lunch, it's so worth it!

I would recommend staying away---far away---from this ice cream! I got hooked on it really bad last summer, especially the Southern Lemon Pie flavor. I could not stay away from it! (I learned that the store filled the ice cream freezer at 10:30 a.m.! Really had a hard time getting weaned from it!)

The Choclate Marshmallow is nothing to sneeze at either! And I like the Party Cake too. It's exactly that. Forget about buying a cake. Just dive into the Turkey Hill!

Being from Lancaster County most of my life, I am very familiar with Turkey Hill. They make the best ice cream hands down. In fact, in years past they would have an ice cream festival every June to benefit the Lancaster County Library System. $5 for all you can eat ice cream and all proceeds would benefit the library. Incredible. They haven't done this for about 3 years now. And I love seeing that cow driving down the highway. What a laugh.

BTW, I am completely addicted to Turkey Hill's iced tea. Yum!!!!!!!!

First off, congratulations on being honored!

I love Turkey Hill--especially the choc chip mint..they are the only ones who ahve shavings of chocolate in there instead of choc chips. LOVE THAT!

I also was addicted to the chocolate pb cup for a while, that was really hard to move on from, I can't let myself buy it anymore because I know I'll be addicted again..

Like the above poster, we're also addicted to the Turkey Hill iced tea.

I am with you, I love their choc. chip mint. We also like the party cake. After you have had Turkey Hill ice cream you don't want any other brand!

Turkey Hill was introduced in this area just a few years ago, and it's pretty good stuff! Its on sale at a local grocery chain here this week for $1.99/carton. Yesterday I picked up the new "Special Edition" flavor of Tastykake Chocolate Cupcakes. I'll probably come home from work today to find it's already gone.

DITTO, I used to live on the same block as a Turkey Hill growing up. Now the Rutters out number Turkey Hills but I can still get my ice cream and tea at Giant and Weis.
