Have you heard of Turkey Hill Ice Cream?

Yesterday I picked up the new "Special Edition" flavor of Tastykake Chocolate Cupcakes.

I had no idea Turkey Hill was using Tasty Kakes in their ice cream. I may have to look for that. Growing up I liked Tin Roof Sundae ice cream that Turkey Hill made.

BTW, is anyone else annoyed that ice cream is now sold in 1.75 quart containers instead of half gallons for the SAME price? I know Edy's and Breyer's are doing it. I haven't checked with Turkey Hill lately.

Chocolate Marshmallow and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup are my favorites. :thumbsup2 Turkey Hill is the only brand of hard ice cream that I like.

Unfortunately, Turkey Hill is doing this as well. I feel cheated. I stopped at the store on the way home from work today. But I could not find the Tasty Kake variety. So, I ended up getting the chocolate chip cookie dough. An oldie but a goodie.

Yummy!!

This is what I was going to post too. Not only are we lucky to have it available to us, we can get it cheap too!

I love Turkey Hill ice cream. There are only 4 brands that I will eat. Turkey Hill, Hershey's, Weis (grocery store, and I swear at times that Turkey Hill makes it for them, it's the best generic I've ever had), and my favorite chocolate, Gallikers'.

I noticed from the link that your class in in Clearfield. I grew up in Altoona and remember going to the Clearfield County Fair when I was little. Small world!!

Do you happen to remember Carnival ice cream? My gramma always had a carton of Lemon Chiffon in the freezer and she would always give me a little dish before my older cousins could get to it. I'm not sure if Carnival is a regional brand or if it's still around, but I haven't seen it in a loooong time.

There are very few things I miss about NY, but Turkey Hill Chocolate Marshmallow is one of them. Maybe they'll start shipping to Florida soon...
