Got my first Moderna at Walmart last week in Florida. Part of the Higher Education group.

Were you starved too after the shot ? (could just be me, but heard alot of ppl saying (on YT and other platforms) that they were really hungry afterwards--- Ive been starving since we got home !!! :))

I'm 37 and got my first dose of Moderna on Friday. My arm was incredibly sore that night and the next morning, and by Saturday night I had developed a fever and my whole body ached. It was just like the flu--I was freezing cold, but anything touching my body hurt so badly. Sunday I was exhausted but felt much better and I'm fine today.

I *think* I had COVID in the fall (my husband tested positive, he got pretty sick, we quarantined and I got sick during that time, but tested negative before and after our quarantine period. The doctor said I probably didn't get tested at the right time? 🤷‍♀️) so maybe that had something to do with getting sick after the first dose? My husband got his shot this afternoon--also Moderna--so we'll see.

Got mine at 3:15AM today !! J & J --- one and DONE !!! Javits Center in NYC did a great job ! The national Guard handled, and everything worked perfectly--- we live in Brooklyn, and left house at 2:30AM--- had a 4:15AM appt, but they let everyone in early--- was very orderly--- Was home at 4:30AM !!! The only time I felt anything was in the car on the way home--- just a bit of soreness, but nothing I would even take Tylenol for ! So far today... so good--- just tired from having to stay up yesterday to make it to my appointment !!! Was against it at first, but so glad I went---- and btw, have a ton of tattoos, but hate shots and giving blood. I didnt feel a thing !!!

Wow I knew they were going to start 24 hours but didn't know they did. I too live in Brooklyn but got my first Moderna shot in a high school in the Rockaways. It was so orderly and we were out in 45 minutes. My arm was sore for 2 days and had no other symptoms.

New Jersey here. Just got my shot today. Called the Virtua scheduling line today just before 5:00pm was on hold for about an hour. Was expecting to get an appointment for later in the week like my DH did earlier in the day but I was able to get an appointment for 6:15pm today so I some how snagged a same day appointment. Get my second shot March 29th. :thumbsup2

I got my second moderna vaccine exactly 4 weeks ago today. Last night I developed a rash around my injection site. It’s very itchy. Is this that moderna rash people have been talking about?
I got mine about eight days afterwards. It lasted about a week. Although the redness and some itchiness hung around for a few more days.

It appears that people over 60 have low or no side effects.
Wasn't true for DH. He had every side effect except an anaphylactic reaction to both injections. He was very sick.

My J & J update--- sore a bit this morning after shot (3:30AM)
Fine all day--

Chills started at around 4-5 pm, and arm still sore--- had low grade fever--- 99.5 (really not a fever many say) --
Took Tylenol--- fever and chills gone. Arm sore, but nothing I cant deal with, and still--- absolutely starving !!!

Received my J&J shot yesterday at 12pm. Was tired last night and went to bed at 8 pm. I had a lot of weird dreams and woke up this morning feeling like I have the flu. Body aches, nausea and still so tired. Worth it though to know I won’t ever have severe Covid!
Feeling much better today! Yesterday was rough and ending up with fever and chill as well as the flu like symptoms. Felt like my fever broke overnight and maybe not 100 percent today but way better.

Got my first dose on the 26th. About 6 days later had a rash, it was a bit itchy and very hot to the touch. Today all I have is a bit red still at injection site but thats all.

Besides the effects above. I had not other symptoms. I am in my early 30's. I received vaccine due to my job and work with people of all ages. Mostly everyone got vaccinated on the same day and even though I keep hearing that younger people have more side effects that was not the case for us. Almost no one had anything worse than a headache.

Live in PA. I know people who have already had 2 shots and I had a hard time getting an appointment for my son who was high risk, he's 23. Luckily his employer provided him with first his first shot. And that came out of the blue. I told him to make sure he moved his arm around a lot and he said it was a little sore but other then that, no other side affects. He had the Moderna.

I think it will be a very long time before I qualify at the slow rate of vaccination I am seeing. I will gladly take the J&J if/when it becomes available. Although I believe PA is pushing teachers to front of the line now, so it will be a while.
